The kids love earning their stars. It's certainly made maths much more fun! The support team are very responsive and helpful to. I would definitely recommend doodlemaths.

Both my daughters (13 and 10) have been using Doodle Maths and English over the summer holidays. They're motivated to log in and 'doodle' with much nagging! It's very reassruing to know that the algorithm targets gaps and both girls will not have the summer dip before they return to school in September. I'm a very satisfied customer!

We have problem for the streak count at Doodle Maths and Tables and requested to the Team Doodle.
They promptly solved problem and replied the feed-back. Thus we are very happy for the help.

I did a lot of research before I paid for doodle. I was under the impression that doodle was gamified. But it isnt. It's just question after question. I was bored, never mind my six year old who is refusing to use it. And as doodle give no refund at all after 14 days, it's £120 wasted that we can ill afford.

It is a brilliant learning interface for my little one and never miss a daily streak or a challenge.

Had an issue with link parent account and student account. This was resolved and dealt with very quickly with in 10 minutes. Amazing service.

The Doodle App absolutely helped my son think on his feet. He started using the Doodle maths when he was just 3 years old, and now he is 12. Using Doodle helped him boost his confidence

Absolutely love this app.
I can analyse where my kids are struggling, see how much effort they are putting in to their learning and they can flag up anything they can't get their heads around! It's great for improving their maths and English!

The app doesn’t allow for parents/educators to set or remove the targets that are visible to children.

Progress tracking in the parent/educator dashboard is very useful but the ‘red and green zone’ visible to children is upsetting and disheartening to children with different abilities.

My son is sight impaired. He enjoyed using the apps for both maths and English, sadly, he started to become very upset that he couldn’t stay in the ‘green zone’ without having eye pain and headaches due to too much time looking at the screen for his condition. When I emailed Doodle to ask how to change it, I was told that it’s not possible as it is a fundamental part of the app.

Any child’s progress should be their own and all children learn at different rates so the target is rather silly anyway. Who is to say that a particular number of minutes per day is optimum for all children’s learning? A neurodiverse child may hyper-focus for hours one day, not use the app for a week, and still have learned the same as the child who did 20 minutes per day.

I understand (don’t condone, but understand) that people do not consider disabilities when creating apps.

However, my main complaint is the lack of any consideration once the issue was raised with them. I was not asked how the app could be made better for visually impaired children, nor was there any suggestion that they would make the very simple change to allow for the target system to be removed or changed would make the app inclusive for visually impaired children (other SEND children would benefit also, but I am speaking from our specific experience/needs).

I was simply brushed off, almost with a shrug, as though children with disabilities don’t matter. No response to further emails or feedback forms.

Is the money from the parents of disabled children worth less than the money of those without disabilities? Otherwise, why lose a customer with so little interaction?

Again, one very simple change would make the difference, but they choose to exclude instead.

Really great app and the customer service team/help are amazing - really understanding and super quick too.
The app is great for encouraging kids to keep their skills fresh in their heads and stretching their ability. My daughter loves the games too - keeps maths fun!

My children have excelled in maths and continue to do so thanks to doodle maths. I can’t rate it highly enough. So grateful to have such a fantastic learning tool for them. My 9 year old son has a streak of 1300 days that is testament to how much he gets from it.

Super customer service. My son lost his long running streak and they managed to reinstate it with a message of a few details.

Bring back the button for parents to do it as it is rare but means a lot to the children.

My daughter uses Doodle as part of her home education and we love all 4 apps. She doesn't get on with many but doodle has stuck with her and she generally enjoys using them. Although she is 8 she has SEN and we where able to assess her needs and use doodle according to her development age and needs. I have tried many apps and honestly this is one of the best out there.

Started off ok but my son who is in year 6 worked quickly through the assignments. Some of the assignments for year 6 were not available so he could not complete all of them, despite me asking several times they never came back with when. I left the App but Doodle staff has offered me 14 days free so I re-joined after about 3 weeks off it but those assignments are STILL missing!

The Doodle age makes not sense. If a child's age is 10/11 (year 6) and their knowledge and understanding is of a year 6 child then their Doodle age should be 10/11. If it calculates the Doodle age as 6/7 then it means that they are not meeting their year group expectations. I asked about this to the support staff but they said that the Doodle age was not related to the child year group.

I have three children that LOVE using the app. I hate when my kids use their ipads for YouTube and shorts and now they have an educational purpose that they love using it. They are motivated and engaged and strive to do better. The people that designed the app actually understand what motives children and different ways to keep them engaged whilst learning. I highly recommend it.

We love using the Doodle Maths and Spell apps for our little one. Used since EYFS it scales up with your child and has fun elements to keep them engaged.

My son loves Doodle Maths. Very helpful support team on the chat function too 🙂
