max arrive on time . did an excellent job on our kitchen sink clogged, i can now use our sink with a good water flow. i can recommend douglas and son for plumbing.

This company sent a plumber to my home to repair a leaky shower faucet. While at my house, the plumber didn't even touch the faucet. He was operating off of what he had been told by his company that the metal bonnet that had to be unscrewed to replace the washers inside could not be removed as a result of years of lime crud. I explained to the plumber that I had researched this issue on YouTube and found that if you pour boiling hot water on the faucet, that it would loosen the lime crud and that it could then be unscrewed. The plumber had no interest in looking at the video or trying what I had recommended. His only interest was tearing out tile or drywall from the rear of the shower to gain access to the diverter to remove and replace the entire diverter, and of course at my expense for the destruction both in gaining access as well as repairing everything later, which probably would have cost upwards of a $1000 total if I was lucky. When the plumber left, I boiled some hot water and poured it on the bonnet, which loosened it sufficiently for it to be unscrewed. That took me all of 5 minutes to do. This is the world that we live in, blue collar companies who wish to take advantage of people where they think everyone is stupid and they are gods of the universe.
