To appreciate why I have given 5 stars you need to know that I am approaching retirement, I'm single, live on my own and had absolutely no idea what kind of pensions I had or how they worked.
Justin has done a fabulous job in explaining everything in layman terms. He gently guided me through the process and paperwork, keeping me updated all the way and never pushing me into doing something I wasn't sure about.
Now I've been with Douglas Steers for just over a year, I feel confident that my pension is in the right hands. It honestly feels like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.

Justin is very approachable, answering a lot of questions about our pensions. He goes beyond the expected service and has settled our minds about financing our retirement.

Started ok last year but now I want to contact them they just ignore me, mobile number always to voicemail, leave a message but no one bothers to call back, phone the office and am told they will call back, again no one bothers, tried email and guess what.. no response. I thought they were supposed to be working for me, obviously not

I contacted Douglas Steers some 2 1/2 years ago to consolidate 3 modest pension pots into one, and Jordan has been very helpful in doing this, and overall the one new policy is showing good growth, after fees. I have had an annual review meetings with Jordan and these have been helpful. He is clear in his explanations, including what I am getting for the monthly charges DS make!, and I have a sense of trust in his judgement.
