Professional and efficient
Danny came when he said and was very friendly and efficient. He fixed the underfloor heating manifold. I had been told previously that I would need a new one. He seemed very genuine and clearly an expert plumber. His company put some effort into sourcing the relevant part beforehand.

Highly Recommended Down to Smallest Detail!
Had boiler serviced by Patrick. He was punctual, polite and extremely knowledgeable. Had noisy radiator on start up, after service very much quieter. He also provided me with a DPB pen - regular pen one end and tablet pen the other end. Also works great on my mobile so no more problems with hand cream transference onto my screens. Thank you, Patrick, for your expertise and for your kindness.

Fast replacement of failed boiler
My boiler failed on Friday. Alfie and Cooper installed my new boiler on the following Wednesday. The guys kept our house clean with a minimum of mess. Very fast and professional service.

Heating engineer came out and repaired the heating after having hot water but no radiator heat. Great job and very efficient. Lovely friendly engineer. Would highly recommend

Our boiler stopped working on Boxing…
Our boiler stopped working on Boxing Day and Danny called to kindly spend the time talking me through how to re-pressurise it. Danny was throughly helpful and knowledgeable meaning the problem was fixed in no time. Very thankful for the help, especially on Boxing Day and will definitely recommend Danny in the future.

Quick, efficient and very helpful experts!
The booking of my appointment with Sue was quick and easy and the engineer came within 2days to check my boiler issue. Patrick was prompt, chirpy and very efficient. He explained everything as he went along, without being patronising. What a mine of information! He explained the problem and showed me exactly what to do. He also checked my shower and discovered a big problem with the controls. He advised that the unit could probably be replaced as part of my plan! Afterwards, he talked me through the central heating controls, which are complicated on these units and we agreed one whole unit (rather than one up, one down) would be better. He advised me of the best settings in Winter if I was away at any point. Incredible service, as ever, from DPB Plumbing, but Patrick went 'the extra mile'. Thanks so much. I'm so glad and relieved that I'm on the Platinum Plan. Happy Festivities to you all and thanks also to Sue, who is so quick to sort appointments! I've already got one for the replacement of the shower control! How do they do it?! Much appreciated, Maggie Constable, a very grateful customer!

Boiler fitted
Danny and James were brilliant first class job as always arrived on time were friendly and helpful and don't leave a mess very tidy. Did a good job fitting new boiler really pleased. Had a bit of concrete left over and put it in a hole in our step which they didn't have to do it was really good of them. First class company reliable and on time wouldn't use anyone else can't praise them enough.

Want paying for work not done
Paid a significant sum of money for a boiler service and diagnosis of a fault - the engineer diagnosed an electrical fault with the boiler and sent an electrician to find out what it was -this cost more.
A team came out fixed it but left with the old thermostat hanging off.
They did not come back as promised to service the boiler. Customer service was poor and evasive.
For the significant sum of money paid upfront it was shoddy and incomplete.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with the service provided.
After reviewing your account and the full history of the job, we would like to clarify a few important points for transparency:
• The appointment was booked specifically to diagnose a boiler/heating system fault — not for a boiler service — and no boiler service was included or paid for within the works requested.
• During the initial visit, our OFTEC-registered oil engineer thoroughly checked your system and identified that the issue was electrical in nature, rather than a boiler component failure.
• To ensure the fault was safely resolved, we arranged for our approved external electrical contractor to attend. This was explained in advance, including the additional cost.
• The electrician diagnosed a faulty cylinder thermostat and a failed two-port zone valve. We then provided you with a quotation to replace both, which was agreed and authorised by yourself before we proceeded.
• When carrying out the repairs, our engineer discovered the cylinder thermostat could not be removed due to a water leak from the hot water cylinder — the leak itself being the underlying cause of the fault. This could not have been foreseen prior to dismantling.
• As the thermostat installation could not be completed due to this cylinder defect, we removed the charge for the thermostat element of the works from your invoice.
• We successfully replaced the two-port zone valve and restored heating/hot water operation, and we clearly advised that a replacement hot water cylinder would be required. You declined this further work at the time.
We fully respect your right to leave a review, however we do feel that the rating does not reflect the agreed scope of work nor the efforts made to resolve the issue promptly and professionally. Throughout the process, our office and engineers communicated the costs, findings, and the next steps required.
We remain happy to assist should you wish to proceed with the recommended replacement cylinder, or if there is anything else we can help with.

The young man who came to do a job for us was very punctual, very friendly and polite.
