Dpf Specialist Avis 

Had them came out to clean dpf for it to only came back on after 4 days found out they didnt do what they say , chucked a bit of cleaner in , rev it few times when asked if regen was done he said yes they were here less than 30 mins . When light came back I actually had it force regen it as I had tool that took 40 mins on its own , so I they took my money and ran , should have read reviews first . Never again use them as I could have done what he done for 3 quarter of the price the asked

Very important warning to those with DPF issues!! Head for a Specialist garage rather. Stress free.
Chemicals were added to my car messing up house windows as well as my neighbour. Thankfully i had upvc cleaner.End result messed up my Car too!! Was told all O.K BUT a sensor will need replacing.
Same day DPF back,lost power?Got a quotation £800 inc labour and sensor!! I said No and manage to buy a £120 new sensor.
After repair it broke down onroute to work after system burst!!
Now my DPF specialist has found diagnostic misreading mistakes etc and is repairing my car.I offered hi the two extra chemical cans received by Mobile repair.He simply said dump them??
Now im stuck with outstanding payment for repair funds while this company has been paid in full for unprofessional service of my car. More shocking news but will keep for a later date.

Technician arrived earlier thab planned. Thry gave excellent advice about the cause of the loss of power in my vehicle. The DPF was done professionally and promptly. All done outside my home. Excellent service.

⚠️ WARNING: One of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune to encounter
My car became sluggish, hesitant, and returned reduced MPG. After researching, the symptoms resembled a blocked DPF, but I made it clear from the start that I wasn’t sure it was a DPF issue. Auto Assist (trading as DPF Specialist) assured me they would carry out an in depth inspection and diagnostic first, and discuss the findings before doing any work.
Their brochure promises “state of the art equipment, highly trained engineers, industry leaders in DPF cleaning.” The reality was the complete opposite.
• They arrived 1 hour 15 minutes late • They began removing panels before doing any diagnostic • Their diagnostic showed faults unrelated to the DPF • They ignored those faults and carried out a DPF clean anyway
From the moment they took the first diagnostic to the moment they reassembled (poorly) the engine components and packed up, only 31 minutes had passed. The actual “clean” lasted under 15 minutes — far below the manufacturer’s stated process time for the equipment they use.
It then took two weeks, multiple calls, and emails before they reluctantly provided the diagnostic report they had promised. When it finally arrived, it was fabricated and misleading, clearly altered to justify the unnecessary DPF clean.
Unsurprisingly, the DPF clean made no difference to the car’s symptoms — because it was never a DPF issue. My credit card provider reviewed the evidence and refunded the full amount immediately.
Auto Assist (DPF Specialist) appear to perform the same rushed DPF clean on every vehicle, whether it needs it or not. When it doesn’t fix the problem, they simply claim your car “has other issues” and refuse responsibility.
⚠️ Additional Warning Auto Assist’s “DPF clean” involves dumping toxic waste directly onto your driveway instead of collecting it for proper disposal, as Environmental Health regulations require. The residue contains carcinogenic particulates and heavy metal contaminants that should never be released into the environment. This hazardous sludge is a serious danger to health and no responsible company would ever dispose of DPF waste this way.
A company that cuts corners on diagnostics, honesty, workmanship, and even hazardous waste disposal is not a company anyone should trust with their vehicle or their safety. Avoid them.

The Engineer Alex was very knowledgeable about the DPF on my car, unfortunately it wasn't the outcome I wanted as the DPF had completely failed, but he did a full check of the system and we now wait to here from the warranty company

Don't bother here how they work. Firstly easy to book not surprising for £400 then comes the friendly smile Technician who appears to know what he doing and clears the light. Happy customer so you think then before you blink light back on. Now here comes the 3 months guarantee. They advice everyone as Technician said is legal requirement. Right that even when you have had an oil change so for your guarantee to take place you have to prove and provide all evidence that you have changed oil etc and provide fault code. Very reluctant to give guarantee. However once this is achieved they come out and this is where the first Technician fails to notice sensor and fuel vapouriser needs replacing he then cleans properly as it was done different from first call out and you see the dirt come out.Ok now there's another £700 to replace said parts. Then first Technician comes back out to replace it umm that where he says only sensor needs replacing he leaves and that right you guessed it light back on. So arrange another call off Technician off sick so that a day pay lost and another day's pay to take the next day off still the light on. So up to date don't bother take it straight to a garage.

Mechanic was experienced and knowledgeable and diagnosed my problem very quickly.

Highly recommend this business, Adam the mechanic was incredibly efficient at fixing our DPF, within minutes he had identified the issue and fixed it.
