I tried calling a few solicitors…
I tried calling a few solicitor offices during lockdown and always spoke to receptionists who couldn’t answer my initial queries. I called DPH and immediately spoke to a solicitor who guided me through the entire process. I’m a difficult customer to please DPH we’re faultless, thorough and knowledgeable. My settlement was completed the next working day and my employer thanked me for the quick turnaround.

I sought advice and representation from DHP legal on a complex employment dispute resulting in discrimination and breach of contract claim. Massive Disappointment in Service
I was initially assigned to a great solicitor at DPH Legal. Unfortunately, she left the firm and my case was passed to David Harris. Sadly, Mr. Harris was rude, condescending, and unprofessional at each of our interactions. Especially prior to me sending him confirmation of the payment agreement I had with the company in which I paid as agreed. During our calls, he would routinely request updates on the case and advise on next steps.
The company should ensure that all their employees are well trained in people/communication skills. The customer experience is drastically different depending on the solicitor assigned to the case. Due to this risk, I highly recommend taking your business to another legal firm.
Update: After my initial post, Mr. Harris contacted me requesting that I take down the post and if I don't he threatened legal action. One can only guess this is how he keeps the company's negative ratings low.

We have passed on your comments to Mr Harris. We note from the file that there were no complaints arising from you about the work carried out on your behalf until Mr Harris contacted you to request payment of our outstanding invoice. At that stage you refused to pay the same without providing any reason for your refusal.
Eventually after some time you reluctantly paid the invoice in full. We note that you elected not to raise a formal complaint about any issue arising from the advice provided.
Mr Harris didn’t provide you with legal advice he merely requested payment of our outstanding invoice for work undertaken by his colleague namely Varsha Maistry-Ahmed.

Farideh of DPH Legal was very helpful…
Farideh of DPH Legal was very helpful and worked so hard, my wife and I could not thank her enough.
She knew the inside out of Employment Law which helped to achieved a satisfactory result from my previous employer with an "mutual agreement" settlement.
I would definitely recommend and use DPH Legal again if and when the current situation arises in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We appreciate your feedback. I am sorry that you feel there was a lack of communication between yourself and the solicitor. We have reviewed the file and note that you were advised verbally that your agreement would be returned to the Company for signature and that the Company would send the agreement directly back to yourself. We also advised that if we received the agreement back signed from the company we would forward this on, however, in most cases the company returns this direct to the employee.
When the agreement had been returned to us we were advised by the employer that you had also been sent a copy directly. We did not hear from you that you had not received the agreement. Had you made contact with us in this regard we would have been very happy to follow this up with the employer at no extra charge to you.
In any event we have passed this feedback on to the solicitor involved.

Superb service levels
I experienced a great service from DPH legal and would highly recommend them to others.
There was a quick response from the first person that I spoken to about my predicament and then regular updates on the progress on my case.
The lawyer who ultimately dealt with my case was clear in her advice throughout and made me feel completely at ease. She used plain English rather than legal speak and the options were set out clearly for me to consider.
An excellent result was achieved in the end and I would have no hesitation to recommend them to others in need of employment law advice.
