I had to replace my Drive Preserve Tech…

I had to replace my Drive Preserve Tech folding walker purchased 2 years ago because I fell over in the Feb ‘26 30” snowstorm and bent one leg. I was able to roughly straighten the bent leg but never fully so I ordered another one

These are the very well made and well packed for shipping. I have only positive remarks about this walker as in all aspects. Thank you Drive!

Bought three items

Bought three items. Transition bench for bathing does not have enough leg height adjustment to fit tub. Elongated raised toilet seat. Does not fit my Amercan Standard toilet. Afraid to try the bed rail. This stuff is going back. Disappointed. Seems sturdy enough just poor design. Do not recommend.

Not the same quality as before

I previously owned a Drive Scout 4 scooter which had some issues and needed some repairs during Covid. Parts weren’t available so I purchased a new Drive Scout 4XL.
It seems to me that the quality of this product has diminished. I am currently having issues with the front basket. The screws were continuously coming loose. I would tighten them only to have them come loose a couple of weeks later. I even used some thread lock in an effort to stop them from coming loose, however now it appears that the screws and the holes in the tiller post won’t thread on properly. It might be time to try a different brand of scooter.

If zero stars was available i would…

If zero stars was available i would give them this. For past 3 days have been promised that an engineer will come to fix a broken electric bath chair. My friend is frail, has mobility issues as well as mental health issues and already has had a serious fall. Constantly told that an engineer will urgently come out, false promises.
This firm is paid by local authorities to deliver a service, which they are not. We will also raise this with the Council.
No care or consideration at all

I used to work for them

I used to work for them. A terrible experience. Many people working there are their own bosses therefore everyone gives you a different response. You are a number. You are blamed for someone’s else responsibility and accused of things you do not do. I would stay away. You are not respected and are constantly stabbed in the back and lied about.

wheelchair 2 years old made redundant by a missing spring

a wheelchair purchased two years ago is missing a small spring in the leg rest release. A spring. And Drive medical wants me to either buy a whole new set of wheelchair legs, or a whole new chair. The part costs 37.00 but now Drive medical is saying the part is no longer available. They sent me a list of parts providers of which none have the part and all are only willing to sell me a new wheelchair.

Shame on us for purchasing a product…

Shame on us for purchasing a product from this company without checking the reviews. We bought a simple overbed table which arrived via mail. The instructions were brutal. They don’t tell you what tools are required and the instructions themselves are tiny and difficult to discern. After seeing the other reviews, I’d be amazed if they’re n business much longer so any warrenty will just be as useless as their instructions. Very disappointed

Ultrafold scooter battery intermittent…

Ultrafold scooter battery intermittent failed, 4 months old.
Devilbiss will not deal with me, and the dealership, who said they would replace the battery pack has now refused to.
I am now having to go to trading standards, and the small claims court.

They don't take responsibility... I urgently need a solution....!!!!
But if you look at all the bad reviews of this product, it is scandalous that they still sell this wheelchair after all ...

Faulty armchair

I purchased a rise and recline armchair just over 6 months ago. The arm of the chair has started splitting. The chair cost me £1800 and they are trying their best to try and get out of the warranty accusing me of using cleaning chemicals on it. Looking like I'm going to be having a legal fight with them. Avoid this company at all costs.

Poor customer service.

I purchased a chair side table for my husband, who is on Hospice care. We really needed this table. It was missing a critical screw and customer service was not helpful. If you call the company for help, the answering machine tells you to go to their website and then hangs up on you.
I went to their online chat and was told the screw would be mailed to me in 3 to 5 business days. I begged for overnight delivery. They refused. I was told that they would send me an email telling me the specs of the missing screw so I could buy one locally. It never happened. Now, I have a very ill husband, and a huge partially assembled chair side table in my dining room that I have to disassemble and mail back to Amazon.

It Broke and they want me to pay for the repair even though it's covered by warranty

After doing under 29 miles in one year, the scooter clunked to a sudden stop in the middle of a small, flat road at Street's Shopping Village. Only a whack with a hammer enabled me to get it off the road. Although its warranty is for 24 months, the repairer/seller has now had it for over 7 weeks. They charged me £95 to collect it, part fixed it, and now want me to pay for a complete new frame and fitting - several hundred pounds! AVOID.

Reliability issue

Bought the auto fold scooter in July and it broke in the first week and left me stranded. Replacement scooter sent out but not in time for my summer holiday so that was rather ruined. Replacement scooter the charger port failed within 4 months. Folding mechanism also operates by itself and this is dangerous. Bought scooter online through Easy Living Mobility although they have a shop I cannot take it back there but have to pay to send it back to their central office and the expense of this is at my cost and it’s not cheap. So this is not a cheap scooter, so I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere for a more reliable scooter. As a disabled person you need something that is very reliable- so this is not that product. Now turning to trading standards as this product does meet the requirements of Consumer regulations.

Great product....awful service

I purchased a Drive Easy Rider mobility scooter (great product) but am having trouble operating the throttle lever because of severe arthritis in my hands. I found a twist throttle option available on their website so I phoned Drive to get a price for this. I received a curt response saying they only deal with their trade accounts and because I am just an end user then I will need to contact one of their trade accounts. I typed my post code into the account finder on their site and received details of 2 companies. When I phoned the first company they told me they had never heard of Drive Medical and they only work on tail lifts! The second dealer still hasn't come back to me over a week later! Will never buy a Drive Medical product again
