DuracellDirect Avis 

Utterly bizarre shipping policy. Purchased two batteries from duracelldirect.no, their literal Norwegian branch.

The batteries were dispatched from London and to clear customs into Norway the courier that Duracell required me to supply a Norwegian Social Security Number. I am an Australian Tourist and find it utterly bizarre that Duracell would assume it is only selling to Norwegian citizens? Also the consignment details are usually entirely handled by the seller, not the recipient. I can only assume DuracellDirect made a mistake in shipping and would not shop with them as they clearly cannot guarantee delivery or quite stunningly are not across the particulars of delivering to the country their website is registered in.

I had my debit card information abused by swindlers obviously based in London (same like this company) shortly after ordering here. I cannot confirm this site to be the root of this swindle, but I had a bad feeling immediately after putting the order through, because this website STORES your debit / credit card information on their servers, effectively leaving your payment information vulnerable.
The mistake was mine, I acted a bit quick and whimsical thinking I would be directed to the normal payment process with due verifications when I put the information. But there is no proper process here.
Now my card is blocked and I will report it to the police.
Again, I cannot positively conclude this to be the source of the swindle, but I would never purchase something here again with such a lack of a proper payment system. Thus one star.

Fast, cheap and eazyto find.

It was a bit challenging to find products that fit my equipment, but when I finally found it, everything was fine.
I bought a battery and a battery charger for my OM-5 camera.

I ordered a laptop battery and it took 9 days to arrive. If I knew that it takes so long, before the purchase I wouldn't have bought it from duracell direct.no but elsewhere, but this information was not clear before the buy. To mention that it was not international delivery but domestic. Secondly and worst the shield of the box contaning the battery was torn. The battery work good until now but not sure why it was torn.

Previous batteries from duracelldirect have been excellent. Includes great tools and instructions on how to replace.

I had to buy a new charger because I bought the wrong charger... I have sent 3 mails because they offer return and switch. Haven't heard anything from them.
I like that they have an easy VAT solution, therefore 2 stars instead of 1.

Not coming back here for something else...

I find my correct batteries, but the payment section was difficult.
