Purchased Duraweather folding…

Purchased Duraweather folding Adirondack chairs for my outdoor patio and the quality is out of this world! Very impressed! Assembly was super easy. I would highly recommend DuraWeather and I will be purchasing more items for my Airbnb in the fall.

I would give this company a 0 if I could.

I ordered a 7 piece table and chairs set for $4400 from the Duraweather website. I received a Wild Ridge product. I immediately emailed Duraweather to get a refund since I wanted a duraweather product. I was told by Hainz that the site didn’t say it was a Duraweather product. Does it really need to say that when you order off the Duraweather website? I thought about keeping it until I opened the package and read the tools needed to assemble the product includes a cordless drill, tape measure, and mallet. I basically need to do everything that should be done at the factory to put it together. I again told Hainz that I wasn’t going to do this. He told me that the product should have been drilled at the factory and to send him back the piece that hadn’t been drilled and he would send me a replacement. The whole set is like that! Duraweather doesn’t even know the products it’s sending out. I sent Hainz a pic of the instructions to show him it all needed to be assembled. He told me I would have a 30% ($1320) restocking fee plus I will need to ship it back on my dime. There are two pallets worth of plastic here that would cost hundreds of dollars to return. Not to mention getting a truck and loading it. I’ve emailed Hainz back and forth for 8 days with no results. I called the customer service and for two days no one picks up the call for returns. So I call the purchase number and someone picks up right away. I told her I want to speak to a manager and she claims they don’t have phone numbers and won’t even give me a name. Don’t do business with this company!!

UPDATE: DuraWeather says that the instructions say you need these tools, and that is correct because I’m the one that sent them the instructions pic because they didn’t even know it. HOWEVER, you don’t get the instructions until after the delivery when you open the box. All of their policies are centered around not allowing you to return the product. Who is going to pay $200 for shipping and $1320 restocking fee to return a product that did not say you have to measure, drill, and mallet on the website. I would never have purchased this product if it said I had to do that. The only thing we can do to greedy companies like this is to not buy their products. Don’t buy their products!!

UPDATE 2: Because I have no other choice but to pay someone to measure and drill these holes to make sure it’s put together correctly, I accepted, via email to Hainz, DuraWeather’s offer of a free drill, rubber mallet, and tape measure to do the job. However, it’s been a week and I haven’t heard from anyone and haven’t received the materials. There’s absolutely no way to talk to these people except through email and they never respond.

The dining set you purchased explicitly states the manufacturer on the website under the product description. The title of the dining set you purchased did not contain DuraWeather, nor did the product description contain Duraweather (please refer to the screenshot that was emailed to you). The instructions states, "required tools". The instructions did not say the required tools were included with the hardware, these items are things typically everyone has in their home, such as a drill gun and/or a measuring tape. As a gesture of you being a valued customer, we have informed you, as an appreciation of you being a valued customer, we can separately purchase the drill, tape measure, and a mallet and have it shipped to you for you to complete assembly. You declined that offer and insisted on a refund, we informed you, we would happily issue a refund once we receive the furniture back to the warehouse. Surely you understand we couldn't issue a refund because you still have the furniture. Our dedicated customer service support team answers inquiries within 24 hours or less and they have responded to all your inquiries within an hour of receiving your emails to address your concerns. Our customer service line instructs our customers to email our customer support team to receive the fastest assistance/response. Our sales department and customer service department are different departments, and their job duties are also different. Unfortunately, you were calling the sales department and our customer service line has instructed you to email our support team for assistance. We have gone above and beyond our normal scope of operations to ensure that you as well as all our customers are more than taken care of. In addition, we very much appreciate our employees and do not take kindly or condone verbal abuse or treats from you by calling our sales department and threatening our sales employees. We would like to add a special thanks to our customers who have purchased and are satisfied with our quality products.

Great Product!

What a great product and great company! Strong and durable product. As a resident of the NC Outer Banks, I have seen many, many Adirondack chairs, but none of them compare to the look and quality of this product. The variation of products and colors is very impressive and customer service is very responsive.

Repeat Customer

I’ve placed 4 orders with Duraweather in the last month. I continue to purchase from them because of the quality of the product and customer service. I’ve made gift purchases for my two adult children. The quality of their products ensures that they will appreciate their furniture items long after I’m gone. I had missing parts on one order but they were quick to remedy replacements. I also had a delivery address error (my mistake) and they assisted with correcting the problem before delivery. They provided timely shipping on all of my orders. Highly recommended.

King Size Folding Adirondack Chairs

I purchased 2 king size folding Adirondack chairs and was very impressed with the quality and thickness of the polywood. I had several interactions with customer service pre and post sale and in both instances they were very helpful. The folding functionality was a great feature should I need to stow them inside but I have no worries leaving them outside year round due to their weight and durability.

Build time took about 15-20 minutes per chair and the instructions were clear with all tools necessary provided.

MELTEDED ROCKER NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!

Bought 4 rockers for near $400 each. In 15 months the ROCKER part melted FLAT on all 4 of them. They are under a pole barn and not even in the sun. They told
Me to “melt them back” because it’s not covered under warranty. Duraweather outdoor furniture. NOT COVERED. WOULD ADVISE AGAINST OVERPAYING FOR THIS GARBAGE PRODUCT.

We love our new Duraweather chairs and table! There are so many colors to choose from which helped us given the color of our house. Shipping was fast and assembly quick and easy. Customer service is friendly and easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend!

The best outdoor furniture, ever!

I'm not sure how I found this website but super happy I did, I must admit I was apprehensive about ordering on-line not knowing the company, after reading other reviews i decided to buy, I found customer service to be super helpful and polite,
I was able to put the set together without help from hubby!! Absolutely the best outdoor furniture set we have ever owned!

Dora weather Adirondack chairs set up for.

The chairs were exactly what we were looking for and exceeded our expectations. We were missing one small screw and the response was prompt and the part was on its way. Great service! We are looking at one of their gliders in the future and definitely will use door weather.

I’m very pleased with my purchase

I’m very pleased with my purchase. They went together easily, and were much cheaper then other ones I looked at. The quality is very well done. If I had to say something negative, the packaging was poor. The company needs to evaluate a better shipping and packaging.

Wonderful customer support!

I ordered and received a beautiful 5 piece Lakeside Adirondack Counters Height Set for our boat dock deck.
The table edge received a slight ding during shipping and I notified Duraweather just as a heads up and was wonderfully surprised that they offered and did replace the damaged section. Great customer support.

Needed a durable option

Duraweather products are obviously made of quality materials. My outdoor furniture really takes a beating from relentless sun and all kinds of weather. Birds and ducks are constantly testing the surfaces of my furniture. Cleanup is easy. I don’t have to deal with rotting wood or painting anymore. I just haven’t seen a better or more affordable option yet. For me, I’m done shopping for answers. I get compliments every time someone sees them

Absolutely great quality

Absolutely great quality! Customer service was great! Our chairs and dining sets were easy to put together. What a wonderful addition to our new backyard. I would recommend DuraWeather Poly to anyone looking for quality outdoor furniture.

BUYER BE VERY VERY VERY AWARE

DUraweather Poly or Patio Surplus LLC is by far the worst company that I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. We received our set of chairs which was incomplete, and after almost three months, they informed us that they would not be sending the missing items. There is nobody that is available to talk to on the phone and they sometimes take several weeks to respond to email inquiries. We are spending an inordinate amount of time attempting to get our money refunded as this review is being written.
UPDATE
I sure do wish that the one star could be removed from this review.
This company has refused to ship out our missing items. After disputing these charges on our PayPal account, and spending the time necessary to jump through the necessary hoops, the case was resolved in our favor. Duraweather Poly is attempting to send me to collections since they were charged back for the undelivered items. The items that did arrive to us are not of good quality or as they described on their site. I wanted to return the partial set and Duraweather was going to charge me for return shipping.
What was intended to be a birthday gift for my wife was turned into a living nightmare by this unethical company. I only wished that I would have seen some of the other reviews before making this purchase. Steer clear of this horrible company.

We're sorry you had a bad experience. Our records reflect on July 19, 2022, you informed us and sent us a picture of the chairs you received damaged by UPS. On July 19, 2022 our customer service team member initiated a phone call to discuss your concerns. After the call, we have shipped out replacement parts to fix any issues that occurred due to shipping damages. On July 25, 2022 you informed us you did not receive all 6 chairs you purchased for a separate order. We tracked the packages and contacted our Account Manager with UPS and they informed us all 6 chairs were delivered to your shipping address you provided when you made the purchase. We have also provided and sent you proof of delivery for each of the 6 chairs that you purchased and were delivered to you via UPS. We have also informed you, we would happily refund you for the chairs, but the chairs need to be returned back to our facility to receive a refund. Our records reflect that all 6 chairs you purchased were made and shipped/delivered to you and we have not received them back to issue you a credit.
