I accepted a position with Dustbit after turning down another high-paying opportunity because I genuinely believed in the company and its vision.

I signed a Service Agreement, started working, and immediately began contributing strategies, business ideas, industry contacts, and partnership opportunities. I even started helping before my official commencement date because I wanted the project to succeed.

Shortly after starting, I was informed that my agreement was being terminated with immediate effect. The reasons given included KYC, references, and an alleged breach of a non-compete clause, all of which I dispute.

From my perspective, the most disappointing part is that my signed agreement provided for a 30-day notice period, yet I was dismissed immediately. I have requested the contractual notice payment, but at the time of writing this review it has not been resolved.

Leaving a secure, well-paid position to join a company requires trust. I made that commitment in good faith, only to find myself without the job I turned down and in a dispute over what I believe I am contractually owed.

My experience left me feeling that the onboarding process was poorly handled, communication was lacking, and the commitments made to me were not honoured.

This review reflects my personal experience, and I hope others considering working with the company carry out thorough due diligence before making a similar career decision.
