Too expensive for poor accommodation, no bears despite the name of the tour, no catering for vegetarians.

Very well-organized tour with clear information, excellent guides, everything taken care of so that the group could focus on birding and enjoying the experience.

Thanks to our excellent guides, LOUIE DOMBROSKI and KYLE SCHANTA, I was able to see and photograph many new birds.

The leaders were really helpful in showing me what to look at to distinguish between different species. I felt like I learned a lot. All while having a nice time with different people.

A well organized and carefully crafted tour (despite accommodation hiccups in Intervales Park). Forested ecosystems require a thorough knowledge of bird vocalizations - fortunately both guides excelled in this regard, resulting in a huge list of bird species at tour's end including an equally huge list of endemic and near-endemic species.

Our tour guides were absolutely excellent. Their breadth of knowledge and expertise allowed us to see hundreds of species including some rare and hard to find birds.

The tour was excellent, taking in a variety of habitats. Ernesto Carmen was the best guide I've ever had....extremely knowledgeable, personable, hard working and committed to wildlife conservation based on research and community engagement. First class human being.

The guides make this trip - so many birds. Costa Rica is a beautiful country & we experienced so much variety in our locations, accommodations, food & birds!

Eagle Eye was helpful in booking my Adventure Canada expedition on short notice with minimal fuss.

Easy to book with Eagle-Eye. Staff on board really wanted everyone to have a good time. Food was awesome with so many choices. On land experiences were outstanding with several choices for different interests and abilities.

Positives: Always felt safe traveling solo. Accommodations were satisfactory to excellent, guides were both outstanding birders and human beings, fostering strong group dynamics, plus made it FUN. I really hope I get to go on more trips with either or both of them!! Driver was very steady-handed driving in difficult circumstances at time, and also a fun birder who went above and beyond for all of us.
Recommendations: The last location was near the airport and grounds were nice, but the room was very musty and dark, and the pillows were like rocks. That could use some work. I was the last to leave, scheduled the bus at 10 am, but the driver/hotel owner was late, then decided to delay leaving further to bird in the parking lot with someone else. We didn't leave until 10:30. He told me I had plenty of time to make my flight, and I probably did, but that was not his decision to make and created anxiety as I was traveling solo and was the last to leave of the group. He was very nice, and I don't believe he understood that he was being disrespectful. I think if that was explained to him he would correct that.

Costa Rica is a gorgeous country. This tour covered different areas so we saw a huge variety of birds and vegetation. Our guides, JP and Benny, were exceptional with encyclopedic knowledge of birds and bird songs. Ricardo, our driver, was very helpful and lots of fun.

Eagle Eye has a lot of birding trips we want to go on. Cape May NJ Bird Migration was our first trip. Eagle Eye is very organized and they have excellent guides. Their Newfoundland Grand Tour is on our bucket list.

The knowledge and patience of the guides made this trip great for me. We travelled just enough to see lots of birds in different habitat. The guides made sure everyone got a view. What I saw of Costa Rica was spectacular and I hope to return to explore more.

This tour not simply met my expectations, it surpassed them. Our guide was incredibly experienced and was well versed in the habits, calls and preferred habitats of target birds and also posessed a wealth of knowledge regarding the history and customs of the original custodians of this rugged land. He was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to help the group obtain encounters with some of the more elusive target birds such as the sandstone shrikethrush and the black-banded fruit dove.

The other members of the group were friendly and supportive, taking on certain duties such as recording species and helping others get on to the birds, ensuring that everyone got the opportunity to see the birds we found.

The nine days I was on this tour was an incredible adventure with something new to see and experience each day, including birds, breathtaking landscapes, ancient artwork, flora and other fauna. As an Aussie, I was already familiar with many of the birds we encountered in the NT and still I saw and heard many new fascinating species each and every day with scores of "lifers" added to my list by the end of it all. Whether you are a visitor from overseas or interstate, I highly recommend the Tropical Australia Eagle Eye birding tour.

This was a unique tour. We enjoyed being able to go on shore frequently, weather permitting. We loved seeing the Walruses and Beluga Whales. It was a shame that we didn't see Narwhals, but there was a storm just where they were likely to be. I felt very sorry for the Inuit as their way of life is almost gone and without hunting, it is probably not worth living in the Arctic.
