Thank you for sharing your feedback.
We are sorry to hear about your experience, and even more so that we did not provide the exceptional service we usually pride ourselves on delivering. We sincerely apologise for the frustration and inconvenience caused.
Regarding the reporting and cancellation process, due to EU regulations, once an IOSS number is cancelled, we are required to continue reporting for two full months after that date. This protects merchants from significant penalties, which can include fines and a full ban from the IOSS system for two years.
We have reviewed our communication in your case. While there may be room for improvement, we have been clear about the consequences of non‑reporting and the related fees. The fees mentioned are late payment fees, applied because we did not receive payments for almost two months. As the intermediary, we are co‑responsible for the taxes and must pay the authorities on the merchant’s behalf. These fees cover the interest on unpaid taxes and the penalties we incur while financing the tax debts.
For invoicing fees, we also offer bank transfer as a payment method, where these fees do not apply.
We appreciate your comments and will continue to refine our communication so all obligations and payment options are as clear as possible.
