Oven heating element replaced
Doug replaced the heating element in my Zanussi oven. He arrived promptly, carried out the repair and left everything clean and tidy. He had previously repaired my dishwasher and so I knew that he was both personable and reliable. I would wholeheartedly recommend East Coast Appliances.

Disappointed
Disappointed that immediately upon arrival, the technician said he can't work on the gas hob part of the cooker, only on the electric oven part of the cooker. This was not made clear to me when booking for the service. Now I would have to pay for another call out charge for a gas guy.
Update after reply: Yes, I got an invoice and payment was made to your Lloyds Bank account.

Apologies for any confusion, however, we have not carried out any works for yourself Sir. I've just checked our booking system and we haven't visited anyone by the name of Chowdhury, we also make it very clear on our website what appliances we repair and would make this clear on the phone before making any bookings. Are you please able to provide us with your booking confirmation, or provide an invoice to show that we have attended your property?
Update after reply: Thank you for your response, we have again checked further back on our system and can see we attended your property 3 months ago on 08/06/2023 to repair your dual fuel range cooker which you had reported the electric oven was causing your electrics to trip, you were advised during the telephone conversation we would be able to repair your oven however are unable to work on the gas hob as we do not have a qualified gas engineer. We feel your review is unjustified as you had been advised of the circumstances surrounding your repair.
I'd like to refer you to the electric oven and cooker repair on our website for future reference.

Highly recommend this company. Great service.
Douglas solved our problem really quickly and did a great job. Very old dishwasher had to come out, new one fitted, without destroying non-standard kitchen units. He made a difficult job easy and supplied a great dishwasher, took away the old one, all done efficiently. A lovely man I'd happily use again except that might mean the dishwasher not working.

had a defective 3 year old samsung…
had a defective 3 year old samsung tumble dryer, I didn't have to wait long & Doug arrived, diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed the dryer. Very knowledgable, friendly and prompt. would 100% recommend east coast appliances and will in the future.

Quick, friendly, professional
Oven died Thursday night. Called them Friday morning and Doug was here at 11am Monday. Had the element in his van, installed, tested and cleared up within minutes! Super-friendly team, both on the phone and the engineer. Highly recommended.

Reliable, trustworthy and thoroughly professional
Exemplary service and care given to our dishwasher over a period of visits they were able to identify problem and fix it. They always try to do minimum intervention and are aware of keeping bills down. I would thoroughly recommend them. They are reliable, trustworthy and and give an expert honest opinion.

I was very pleased with helpful and polite assistance I received on behalf of my elderly mother.
The engineer arrived promptly and fixed the fridge and replaced the bulb which blew while he was there.
