I used EasyDMARC to test my email…
I used EasyDMARC to test my email deliverability, and while the tool itself works, I want to warn others about a serious risk if you're not careful.
During testing, I sent multiple identical emails in a short period of time to the provided test addresses. Shortly after that, my emails started going to spam in Gmail, even when sending from different domains on the same server.
What I didn’t realize is that sending many identical emails at once—especially to Gmail accounts—can negatively impact your IP reputation. This isn’t clearly emphasized, and for anyone using their own mail server, it can cause real issues.
If you plan to use this kind of testing:
* Avoid sending many emails at once
* Don’t reuse identical content repeatedly
* Space out your tests and keep volume low
This experience caused a temporary deliverability problem for me, and it took time to recover. The tool can be useful, but it should be used very carefully, especially if you’re not using a dedicated email service provider.
I hope this helps others avoid the same mistake.
