Eat The 80 Avis 

The food I have purchased from Eat the 80 is the best Whole 30 food I have had and I have tried most. Could have a little more spices (not garlic though) and could be more quanity. However with the cost of things understandable. 4.5 stars!

I have been using this service for years. The food is excellent. I like how they offer several choices. It stays fresh for a long time. They have wonderful customer service. I highly recommend.

I have enjoyed most of the meals so far. I also like being able to choose the meals I want, unlike some other companies.

I’ve had a lot of different mail order meals but these are the first ones to arrive completely intact. Hats off to your packing crew!

Eat The 80 has helped me eat a balanced, clean, and healthy diet. The food is amazing and fresh. I like that new menu options are frequently added. The convenience is the best! I highly recommend.

I was really hoping to be able to order from this service since it accommodates my issues of needing to be gluten and dairy free without wanting to go completely grain free. However, the price for shipping is insane. For only 10 meals, the delivery charge would be $84.78. The price for 10 meals is only $139, so you are paying 61% extra for shipping alone. That's crazy. Most other solutions don't charge for shipping. I will have to find a different solution.

Food is well prepared and very delicious! This system is helping me on the road to recovery! Ordering is easy. Delivery is even easier! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We switched to Eat The 80 after trying another prepared meal company and not having a great experience. We were excited because finally a local company we could support. The meals are wonderful. Great taste, the veggies are not full of filler vegs, and the portions are perfect. Again, there are no filler foods to make it look like you are getting more food but just getting tasteless cauliflower or onions just yummy, well-prepared food.

I have referred Eat the 80 too many different people who like prepared meals. You won't be disappointed.

Food is awesome, I mean really great! Plus they add new meals with every order which I love. I order the Whole30 foods and this makes eating healthy so easy. While many think these meals are expensive, Eat the 80 saves me. If I tried to make these dinners every week it would cost so much more! Groceries are outrageous now! Can't say enough good things!

I am so impressed with these meals. I chose the whole30 options. I usually freeze them and they still taste great. I needed something that I can use in between my own food prep and these meals are a great solution for me!

Tastes like cat food. Really bad and wouldn’t let me cancel until i got two shipments. I actually just threw away the whole second box.

The good is consistently good. Heats perfectly in the oven straight from my freezer. This has made whole30 so easy and attainable.

The food is good! It was just very difficult to track the schedule. I have three points:
1. You have to choose meals too far in advance. You’re planning nearly 2 weeks out from meal arrival which isn’t flexible enough for me.
2. The delivery day ended up being a Thursday for me (shipped on Monday, arrive Thursday). The meals only stay good for 6ish days after arrival. That means I need to eat them over the weekend. But, the point of time ordering these was to have them ready to go for a busy work week. I need a Sunday/Monday delivery day.
3. I hate the auto subscription model. Honestly it’s predatory—it’s done on purpose so an order ships every week, which is great for your revenue but inevitably means the customer gets meals on a week they didn’t intend. I would prefer an opt in model, where they don’t ship unless I go pick them.

Because of these I flexibilities, I am going elsewhere. The food was fine though.

I love the philosophy and goals of Eat the 80. I was going through the Whole30 program and was excited for this service. I tried it for two weeks, ordering a total of 20 meals. The boxes were a bit banged up when I received them but that could be the postal service. The Steak Diane and the chimichurri pork were decent. Everything else I ordered was barely edible or not at all. Most of them looked, smelled and tasted like cat food. I’m not sure what is used to preserve them but maybe that has something to do with the taste. I tried different ways of cooking them as well (ie microwave, oven). They were just awful. I have been making a ton of Whole30 compliant meals and they can be quite scrumptious. I think the quality of the Eat the 80 food is just not there, especially at the price.

The food is just OK. I guess if you're a health food junkie, then it would be better. Most of the dishes are dry and yeah, it does say on the reverse package you can add coconut oil, but that's ok. Kind of expensive. Plus, the delivery driver wants a tip too, which adds to the expense.

Food was tasty. Quick delivery. Some of the dishes had lettuce which would be better without as the lettuce is wilted by the time you eat the dish. Some of the dishes had a lot of liquid based on the vegetables or fruit included. However, overall I was able to make it through my Whole30 program with much more ease and way less stress because of Ear the 80.

I liked this meal service since it had much more variety compared to other one in terms of selection. The only thing that I would suggest changing is if there can more variety added after two weeks otherwise it get monotonous easpically with diet plans like whole30

The food is delicious! I’ve tried other meal preparation companies and Eat The 80 has by far the best tasting meals of them all.
