Learning Experience
The tutors are very knowledgeable and helpful to students. The classes are also engaging and content upto date. However, I wish administration would be providing periodic updates or reminders especially for students enrolled in longterm studies in other institutions. I have enjoyed learning at EBU so far and would recommend more students to do the same.

From obscurity to global relevance.
EBU gave the opportunity to rise from a place of obscurity in the African rain forest to global relevance in the AI race.
I started with the AI Certificate Program in 2023 and now an MSc candidate for Data Science and AI. In between, I’ve built and scaled and AI startup shipping products and also spoken in top tier AI events globally.

I am finding the orientation so detailed, and inasmuch as this is going to be an online programme, the way it is done makes me feel that I am actually in a physical space, which instils good discipline. The downside, however, is that my internet connection is slow, where I am based, so this onboarding is taking longer than I would have wanted, and yet has to be done.

My Learning experience at EBU
I completed the course "AI for Leaders and Managers in Finance" at EBU, and it was a highly valuable and insightful learning experience. The course provided a strong understanding of the practical applications of AI in the finance sector, as well as its growing impact across healthcare, education, transportation, and governance structures.
The content was well-structured and relevant, making complex AI concepts accessible for leaders and decision-makers. I particularly appreciated the online presentations, recorded webinars, and regular prompt updates, which made it easier to stay engaged with the material and review key topics at my own pace.
One challenge was adapting to different time zones, but the availability of recorded sessions helped overcome this issue effectively. Overall, the course enhanced my understanding of how AI can be strategically applied across multiple sectors.
I would highly recommend this course to other students and professionals who want to develop a practical and leadership-oriented perspective on AI.

All the classes were online. Timetable was communicated early in advance and hence it was easy to make early arrangements.
Very interactive sessions especially the Webinars, class discussion forums. Sufficient time provided for the Online quiz

I am not happy with the way everything turned out to be, I put in a lot of effort, everything got messed up at the end of the day, wasted effort, wasted time and energy
I am an MBA student, I came in prepared for my exam, the portal didn't open to me, rather it opened another Exam which is for the Certificate student, I couldn't write my last exam after I prepared hard for it, it made me to fail, this is not right, I sent several mail with screen shot, no response till today

The matter has now been escalated for formal review, including verification of system access logs and your submitted evidence. Our priority is to ensure that your case is assessed fairly and that an appropriate resolution is reached in line with academic regulations and institutional policies.

EBU online learning platform provided an outstanding experience, exciting webinar sessions, articulate and understanding tutor and interactive breakout room sessions. Apart from skills and knowledge acquired, the opportunity has greatly expanded my network as I met wonderful course mates across the globe. Am equally grateful for the Talks presented with exceptional speakers with life experiences that we easily related with and the insights were impactful. The technical staff are very supportive and response to inquiries from students Is always prompt.

AML COMPLIANCE PRACTICAL FRAMEWORKS - STUDENT EXPERIENCE
My learning experience was valuable. The course content was relevant and aligned with real-world practices. I appreciated the discussion forums where the lecturer simplified information provided on slides. However, I experienced technical issues accessing one of the graded quizzes (Week 2) and I tried to lodge a complaint several times to no assistance. Clearer communication and earlier resolutions of technical issues would improve the course.
