A Valuable Investment in Professional Development
As a hospitality commercial leader looking to broaden my understanding of hotel real estate, investment and asset management, the eCornell Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management certificate exceeded my expectations.

Genuinely useful, practical AI agents course
Took eCornell's course on creating enterprise-ready AI agents and it was a really helpful overview of both the capabilities and the risks of AI agents. I liked that it balanced high-level concepts with practical, hands-on experience rather than leaning too far in either direction. Overall a genuinely worthwhile use of my time — recommended.

Excellent session with real depth
I attended a live eCornell session and it was genuinely excellent. The instructor went through each concept in detail rather than skimming the surface, which made the material much easier to follow. Overall a really good learning experience.

I found the content and assignments to be incredibly basic and not at an executive or leadership level. I would say this course was geared to someone brand new to HR, not someone in a leadership position with a decade of experience, as it was marketed.

Gives a lot of tools
This certificate was beneficial in giving me tools to use for my professional career. It was decently straightforward to complete. It's one of these things that you get from it as much as you put into it, so I could have completed it without much effort without gaining much, or I could put effort and gain a lot.
I do wish it went deeper in the content such as challenges that we could run into. I also wish it had more AI content since careers are changing with that.

I really enjoyed my experience with eCornell while completing the "Hospitality Management Certificate". Having worked for a luxury cruise line, I was already familiar with the practical side of hospitality. However, eCornell gave me the opportunity to put my existing knowledge into words, challenge my understanding, and think more critically about concepts I had previously taken for granted.
One aspect I especially appreciated was learning about the financial side of hospitality—something I hadn't gained through my professional experience. It provided a well-rounded perspective and expanded my understanding of the industry.
The personalized feedback on assignments also made the program feel much more engaging and personal than many other online courses. It was motivating to receive thoughtful comments throughout the program.

Cornell’s AI in Finance Certification
I had a fantastic experience with Cornell University’s AI in Finance Certification program through eCornell. The curriculum struck an excellent balance between foundational AI concepts and practical applications within the financial services industry.

Writing is a skill shaped by others. That is, to grow as a writer you need to have instructors with insights and experience to show and teach you what good writing looks and sounds like.
At eCornell, on-line plus live sessions, you receive excellent handouts, criticism that guides you to better writing, support and encouragement. You also start to write everyday.
So is it worth the money?
If you want to write better script, tell a better story, and build better skills. Yes.
Emphatically yes. But more important, is that the course materials, videos, facilitators guide and help shape your writing.

Completing the Hotel Real Estate…
Completing the Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management certificate at eCornell was a genuinely rewarding experience.
What stood out to me was the quality of both the content and the facilitators. The instructors clearly combine strong academic expertise with real industry experience, making complex investment and asset management concepts easy to understand and directly applicable. Their ability to explain not only the how, but also the why behind key decisions added real value throughout the program.
The course takes a practical approach, covering topics such as hotel valuation, financing, management agreements, investment analysis, and asset management through realistic case studies and financial exercises. Storytelling as a Craft
The instructors made the experience great. The materials presented made the experience great. The emphasis was on the craft of storytelling and not finding something to write about. Although it was online, I appreciate the facilitator feedback, and sometimes it was received by video. I learned how to give feedback when doing revisions.

I recently completed the "Hands-On AI…
I recently completed the "Hands-On AI Agents: Vibe-Code AI Workflows and Agent Skills for Personal Productivity" workshop through eCornell with Lutz Finger.
The workshop was a practical and highly useful experience. Rather than relying on traditional lectures and slides, the course utilized a "vibe coding" style. This interactive, iterative approach allowed abstract agent concepts to click much faster than reading about them would have. Professor Finger was clearly knowledgeable and made the material approachable, even for those without extensive experience working with AI agents.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to move from simply reading about AI agents to actually building them.
