We called Edison electrical at the end of the working day with an emergency and although someone couldn’t attend until the following morning, they provided really helpful information over the phone to make sure my family and I were safe until they could arrive. They came first thing as promised and were able to quickly locate the issue - though they weren’t able to fix the problem as it involved the mains supply they told us exactly who we needed to contact to ensure it could be sorted. The guy attending was courteous and helpful and we would recommend Edison electrical if you’re having any issues with your electrics!

Edison electrical installed power supplies for several air conditioning systems we had installed. Their work was super neat and even completed the work before we needed. I would highly recommend for any electrical works.

Edison Electrical and Sam are really great guys who want to make sure you're happy. They did our electrical rewire which was a massive job. They were very patient and understanding while we waited for the house purchase to complete and also extremely helpful once they were finished to help us with anything we needed. Just recently we had some flickering lights and they came round almost instantly to check everything was ok

Sam was able to squeeze us in for a full-rewire before Christmas.
Gave him a call and the next day he popped over for a consultation where he advised on positioning of sockets, number of spotlights, etc..
Then a week later him and his team came and got the job done. Great communication throughout process, and all work was neat, tidy and faultless.

Sam and the team at Edison Electrical have completed an indoor socket rewire, outdoor electrics and garage rewire + car charger. I would highly recommend them, and we’ve already recommended them to our neighbour, and will use again for future work.

Sam and his team were absolutely brilliant when doing our rewire, they were incredibly quick and efficient and I couldn’t recommended them enough. Clear communicators, punctual, friendly and helpful. For sure our go-to for anything in the future.

We needed some electrical work doing on our farm and Sam was recommended by a friend. We needed it doing at short notice in time for lambing. Sam came when he said he would to quote for the job. We chatted about our requirements and he gave us advice. We were happy with the price and agreed a day for the work to be carried out. Now on the agreed day I opened the curtains and there had been very heavy snowfall overnight, it was really deep and we are in quite a rural location, no cars were driving past on the nearby road. Knowing Sam was coming from 20 miles away I thought I would ring to tell him to reschedule. I got out my phone to call him and to my astonishment I saw Sam and his colleagues Dave and Olly driving up the road. It was bitterly cold but they cracked on and got the job done to a high standard. We were very happy with Sam and his team! They were friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and he is extremely reliable which can’t be said about quite a lot of tradespeople these days. We would not use anyone else now! Highly recommend!

After ages trying to pin down an electrician I found Sam, who responded immediately and came the next day to quote for the job. Communication was clear and straightforward. Really helpful and professional people who really helped fix the DIY electrics we had inherited. They are my absolute go to for anything electrical. They even make paying the invoice painless!

Work conducted:
o Full rewire of 3-bedroom, 3 storeys Victorian terrace
o Removal of loads of old sockets
o Instalment of ~30 new sockets (at right heights, etc.)
o Instalment of lots of new switches (upgrading to correct gang, making the lighting make sense, etc)
o New lights and light fittings; inside and out. Some in new locations, including change in wall lighting
o Heat / smoke alarms

General notes:
o The consultation with Sam and Dave was great – talked through exactly what we wanted, but they also provided good advice re positioning of sockets, number of spotlights, etc.
o Dave and Co were very efficient. They took time out in the days before the official rewire to get everything cleared up, marked up, floors protected, etc., so that the work could be conducted quickly
o This meant that the work which was set to be 4 days ended up being ~2.25, which was really helpful as it meant we could have been back in the house sooner
o All of the holes, etc., created by the work was all fixed and replastered by their associated plasterer – the work done by the plasterer was of good quality
o Great care was taken by the team to make sure our new floor was protected and similarly with all of our furniture / belongings
o Two points arose after the work was conducted, and one was sorted out quickly (note below on Dave re a socket), the other is to be sorted shortly
o We’d relatively recently had our fuse box replaced (which informed us we needed the rewire), and Dave thoughtfully replaced this like for like, but in a better position so our cupboard door could close
o They used lasers to mark up the wall lights so that they were all accurate, which the previous installation hadn’t been

The Team:
o Sam – on the ball, great (and quick) communication, kept everything moving smoothly
o Dave – thoroughly professional and friendly, superbly helpful, punctual and was willing to pop back at the drop of a hat to fix a slight issue with a socket (manufacturer issue, not Edison)
o Colleagues – only met one other, but he too was very helpful, friendly and efficient

Sensational service. Rewired my entire downstairs with minimal mess and really efficient service. Great guys. Would highly recommend!

Sam and team were great from start to finish - they took over a full rewire after previous electrician stopped turning up, and Sam was so helpful and reassuring in a very stressful situation. They ended up having to redo some of the work to bring it all up to regulation (which was expected) but they turned up when they said they would, finished the work quickly each time, left everything clean and tidy, and certificates came through within a couple of weeks. Definitely my go to for the next bit of work I have planned! Thanks

They communicated very well from the start, and were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The work was done quickly and was tested before they left. It was a simple job: a mere outlet needed replacing. But I'd contact them again in the future for other electrical work.

We've just had a ring circuit reconnected back to the circuit panel by Olly from Edison Electrical. Not much to say other than I'm very happy with the work carried out. They were very quick to respond, friendly, reasonably priced, and the work carried out was to a high standard.

Sam and his team turn up when they say they will , they get on with the job and tidy up after themselves. Unless any major changes with the job the bill is normally as he estimated , this is the 3 rd time I have used Sam and his team and would highly recommend them
