In addition to a previous poor review i have received an email from Edith and Mae stating they are having an 80% off closing down sale. People need to be aware this is an outright con.

Cheap polyester fabric, not as described in advert. Took 3 weeks to arrive and going straight in the bin.

The lowest option was to give one star or I would give none. Poor quality items too small when requested return details told would need to pay cost to return to China or I could keep the item and a 10% refund DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Read the reviews too late -and now receiving e-mails saying they’re sad to be closing the business ( but offering big closing down discounts). Shocking scam

I fell for this hook line and sinker .
Item arrived weeks after order. Poor quality and did not resemble what was advertised.
Found the item faulty .
Complete indifference when reported.
Total scam , don’t order.

Shocking company! Cmr service is shocking! Purchased this item on 25th March 2026 and still no tracking. I keep getting fobbed of with a link to say it’s on its way! Do not purchase from this company!!!BE AWARE!!! Stay clear!!!!!!

Should be no stars. I have just received my linen blouse. Very Kate delivery and it is cheap polyester, badly made, badly sized it is total crsp. Reading the other reviews I realise I will not get my money back. A total scam.

The garments were not as described online, polyester and not linen, cheaply made, but they refuse to give me a full refund unless I return the order to their supplier in China - I've never heard of a company doing this and their 'no quibble refund' is a complete lie. I had no end of trouble getting even 40% of my money back. Avoid.

Complete scam. Terrible quality. Chinese firm dressed up to be UK based. Don't buy anything from them. I've been ripped off.

Total fraudsters. Not in York or UK at all. Just Chineses plastic shoes, masquerading as leather shoes, at an amazing discount. So not be tempted. Customer service is also dire.

The company purports to be from York UK - I had a very poor experience with my item and purchase. First of all the item took ages to arrive - over two weeks. Contacted customer care who gave a discount on future sales for the delay in delivery. When the item did arrive it was obviously delivered from China packaged in a ziplock plastic bag. The quality of the item was poor - thin, shiny polyester and the frill on the neckline flopped over so the sewn seam was visible all th way down. It did not represent the image on the website and definitely is not a high quality item as suggested by the £80+ original rrp on the website.

Then came the really poor return process. Request to return was met with an offer of 10% discount to keep which I refused. This increased to 30% and the sweetener was that Inwould have the money in my account in 2-3 days. If I did return I would have to send to China and wait 2 weeks for my refund plus I had to pay for the return postage to China! I stated the UK trading standards legislation as I was returning due to poor quality but they persisted with their approach. In the end I gave in and accepted the 30% discount because I just couldn’t trust that they would give me the full refund and if posted to China I would have no blouse and no refund! Dreadful service and they are not the people they claim to be on th website. Beware!!!

Looks like ice been scammed- cheap tat from China- nylon shirt so hideous nothing like picture and far too small
Have emailed requesting refund but looking at previous reviews im not holding my breath.
Be warned - the products are nothing like the ones advertised and take an age to arrive from bloody China.

I would give zero stars if I could. Awful cheap shoes arrived broken and my emails are being ignored. Wish I hadn’t fallen for this scam. Avoid avoid avoid.

Scam! Use AI image and story to trick you into buying quality leather products. The products are like plastic temu crap! Have contacted my bank and reported to TS.

Please check reviews of this Company, unlike me who stupidly bought this crap! Two ladies starting a company in York is absolute rubbish. I did receive prompt replies from them to my emails, but did not resolve the issue of shoddy nylon type items, being returned and refunded. It all comes from CHINA! They offered more discount on ordering more items. Will now have to contact Trading Standards and my Bank which is more hassle, there are lessons to be learned here, PLEASE BE AWARE!

Ordered without checking this company out. Still waiting on my order from nearly 3 weeks ago...looks like ive been scammed!

I usually check new companies before I buy but for some reason this time I didn’t. It was meant to be a shoe shop in York and it’s not. Returned items and still waiting for the refund 2 months after my return - DO NOT BUY!

Loafers arrived, nothing like the image. Shoddy quality and sloppy fitting. Took a month to get a returns address out of them. Only to cost me £20 to return items to China. They then continued to stall,I had to raise a case with AMEX who reclaimed the charge. They then asked me why this had happened. They are not two ladies who started. Business in York, but a SCAM. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY‼️
