Price very competitive .Installation excellent order placed on a Friday the installation was completed Tuesday of the following week . The only part that took time was registering for the SEG with a supplier .

The whole installation was professional, smooth and very efficient. From our salesman Roger making his detailed, clear and relaxed pitch to the brilliant roofers and electricians, the whole job was done, cleanly, efficiently, fast and superbly well. We now need to get in touch with the company again and have been unable to talk to them due to phone number being out of service and no reply from e mail. Just wonder if anyone else has same problem as it is now worrying us.

From start to finish the team have been great, we felt no pressure to go ahead or not, everything was explained in layman’s terms, the installation was excellent and the install engineer explained everything to us, he even set up our phones and we keep an eye on our batteries. The only regret I have is I wish I had done this earlier we have had solar panels for 9 years, we can now look forward to greatly reduced electricity bills.

Very good service installed in a couple of days found the work men very friendly. Even the scaffolding came down very quickly already noticed my electric not as high hopefully this will make a difference.

Just had a sale guy from this company call to try and sell me solar panels. When he tried to give me a leaflet I told him we weren’t interested but he continued pushing and wouldn’t take no for an answer. After me saying “sorry we’re not interested” for the third time he turned to walk away and very sarcastically said “Good chat”!!
With rude people like that working for the company, I wouldn’t have used them anyway even if we had been interested!!!

In summary an outlay of about £10-12k, will return 15% plus tax free, and you are doing your bit for the environment. Current VAT saving adds to the appeal, and EFFICIENCY HOMES are the right company to complete the install.

The whole process from initial contact, sales visit, scaffolding, electrical work, to follow ups was very friendly.

Install was quick and painless (scaffolding only up for a few days).

Quality of the components used exceeds others that I checked out before proceeding, so take care with any seemingly cheaper quotes - EFFICIENT HOMES is a better deal.

1 issue with a faulty inverter was fixed the following day, with the manufacturer replacing the unit. To me, sometimes things do go a bit wrong, and you should measure a company on how they react to it - EFFICIENT HOMES gets 5 stars.

The work was completed without a problem. The bill was sent to me by email which I don't monitor constantly but less than 2 hours later I was being phoned and asked when I was going to pay. I found this very rude especially as he put pressure on me to pay instantly. I paid the next day but am still waiting for a receipt. I phoned to query why and again was treated rather rudely. Beware of this firm!!

If you are thinking of solar panels this company was excellent. From the beginning to the end of the installation we were kept informed and it was all completed in less than one week from first contact to completion. Everyone we came in contact with both by phone and in person was friendly and helpful. It’s really great to see zero cost on our smart meter. I can’t recommend them enough.

From the moment we saw the sales person (who was not at all pushy but was very helpful and knowledgeable), to the delivery man carefully unloading, the electricians and panel installers, everyone in the process from the top down have been very friendly and helpful. The cabling for the battery and inverter very tidy. Could not fault any of the process and would thoroughly recommend.

From first approach to installation, everyone I talked to or had working at my home was pleasant, helpful and clear. I didn't know much about solar panels but the initial rep, Guy, was very clear, very patient and not at all pushy - he answered all my questions honestly and with integrity. Jesse the owner of Efficient Homes quickly made personal contact once I expressed interest and from my decision to go ahead to installation was less than 3 weeks - mainly me delaying things! I just met with efficiency at every level. Even when a faulty battery was identified by Nick (the fantastic electrician who did all the wiring and who explained everything clearly and simply) on installation, Liam in the office arranged for it to be changed within 2 days. I have my warranty cover with my invoice and was told if I had any problems I only had to contact the office (which is easy to do - no chatbox!). What more do you want? Oh, and if you read the review about it being a scam, I checked everything and Efficient Homes SE Ltd (details on the internet and Companies House) are genuine, as are the people. The best thing of course is that I see very little electricity needing to be paid on my smart meter!

Four things impressed us about out solar installation experience with Efficient Homes. First they managed to design a system which worked on a non-typical roof. They dis this by sending an actual person to survey. Large companies had simply looked at Google Earth and said it couldn’t be done. Second they dealt with the complexity of decommissioning and removing an old solar water system. And third they were quick and efficient. Finally when we needed to sort things out we were able to get hold of and speak to the team. Genuine personal service.

The installation was carried out very professionally and their after sales service is really excellent.

Josh, Liam and Jay were helpful and very pleasant guys. They explained to me - a new widow with not a clue how all this worked - that the solar panels I had installed 4 years ago would not be as advantageous as with a battery and inverter (as my electricity bills were proving). These items installed within 2 days, clean and tidy and work swiftly carried out. The engineers helped me download the ShinePhone app and explain how it worked after sorting out a username and password for me. Time now to experience the benefits of this piece of kit in my understairs cupboard! I’ll see.

Liam was very helpful in re-establishing my account so that I could access the GROWATT app on my phone having recently changed mobile phones. he understood my request staright away
