Very bad customer service

I ordered a bed from their person Raj he came to my place n took money in advance did not give me any receipt also not installation date. Later when I followed with their office they send a person to my house in the evening of sat which I told by them that person will come in the morning . Fitter done the bed but no handles for the storage after that I was chasing them by phoning their office and no answer everyone was just ignoring after two month they send someone to my place when my daughters were alone to fix the handles of bed n that person took my kitchen’s storage doors away which I did not order from them for repairing and later I received phone call asking for more money as I paid to the fitter in cash since then they threnting me to give money or will not give your kitchen doors I have been trying to speak to Raj or owner but no one is answering as for me it’s clearly theft from my house I left with no doors on my kitchen storage I strongly request to all people please do not give any order to this company as their customer service is really bad

Poor customer service. The female office staff was aggressive and personally rude over the phone when pointing out some defaults with the kitchen fitting and shelves have small scratches and chipped corners.
One of the unit is not boxed from underneath so we are getting fine dust dropping onto the worktop.
If they are not acceptive to defaults 3 days after the kitchen has been fitted then one assumes the same response about any guarantee promised.
EGI May be cheaper than other kitchens but DO NOT USE. Did not want to leave one star rating.

Really bad customer service. The units they provided are damaged, do not work how they should. They also damaged our walls and ceilings in the process.

They fitted a tap which leaks water plus there is a leak underneath the sink. I don't think their employees are qualified to do the job and they have made a lot of mistakes.

we paid them all the money they needed apart from £1100 which was left once the job was completed. However, they are now refusing to complete the job before taking the payment.

SCAMMERS!!

After less than a year the worktop joints starts swelling and when i went to them to ask if they can have a look at the issue, i was immediately blamed for the damage.
Believe it or not they said if a glass of water spilled on the worktop, it will cause this damage.
Its called a WORK-top for a reason but they simply said take us to court if you want.

I went to Egi after hearing their advertisement on Asian television. I highly regret for making that decision. Egi left me with bad/damaged/unfit design and products. These people are very nice to mislead the customer in the beginning and once you make your payments ( as required before the work) they will show you their true colours. They are cheats and once you paid them you will be stuck with bad products.

after receiving damaged beds and wardrobes, I made a number of calls and sent emails but was totally ingnored. After many attempts I got their senior designer to come in and rectify his mistake after he had taken wrong measurements, he threw abusive language at me as I demanded for him to sort the issue. He was so rude that I had to ask him to leave my premises. Even after realising their mistake they kept denying and replaced damaged stuff with more damaged ones. I requested them many times to change my children's beds as they were built so high my 16 year old kept hitting his head on the bridge unit that was built above the bed. They came back and removed the beds promising to replace them but never returned. They kept demanding the final payment but how could I make that payment before they even finished job after all the mistakes they made.
They have not replaced the beds since and ignored my emails and calls. My job was suppose to start on 04/01/2017 and finish by the 10/01/2017 but it has not till now.
Their staff at the office is unprofessional and will blame the customer for their faults.

My message to any one looking for kitchen. And wardrobe company is to never go to Egi.

They will give you the hardest time of your life, like they have done to my family. They took most of the payment and left me stuck with unfinished job. They are a rip off and employ inexperienced staff. They have discriminated against me as they learnt I am a single mother and would not raise my voice against their wrong doing.

I had no choice but to hire another company to finish my children's beds and wardrobes as my children slept on the floor for more then three weeks.
Very disappointed, Egi did not show any care what so ever.

I will not recommend any one to go to Egi. You would be better off hiring some other company.

On purchasing a kitchen from EGI we were offered a 5 year guarantee and the assurances that any problem will be taken care of. When some brackets became damaged and we had to invoke the guarantee, the company then showed their true colours! They would constantly brush us off, say they will call back, will contact us to book an engineer and so on. Many broken and false promises, the guarantee is totally worthless. Avoid this company at all costs
