My life is ruined.
I had a very similar experience with the person whose teeth were heavily shaved down. I originally booked in with this place due to their advertising of ‘minimal prep veneers’ and went in with the treatment. She mentioned that she will shave a bit of the teeth but as I said, because they mention minimal prep veneers constantly on their page, I naturally thought that’s what this clinic specialises in. As the other comment also said, I was not informed how much it would be shaved down and they gave me the same excuse of ‘cavities’. I had my temporary’s fitted on so I had no idea of how much damage was done to my teeth (excessive shaving) until, that same day I was at a restaurant and suddenly something fell out of my mouth. I looked in the mirror to see my teeth look so tiny. I then called them and they said that they will give me new temporary’s however they also fell off again the same day.
I would say I have never been the same mentally since that day and this still has a toll on me. I have been struggling mentally for years now due to my experience with this clinic. It’s almost like trauma, I was crying for weeks. Not once did they tell me, are you sure you would like to go ahead with such invasive treatment at the age of 21. Still until this day I have been struggling mentally to a point where I’m now going to therapy and taking anti depressants because all I can think of is the problems that I will have to live through, throughout the rest of my life.
Besides this horrible experience, the veneers do look nice and natural but if I could sell an organ to go back to that day I absolutely would and I would have never gone to a clinic that cares more about money rather than preserving healthy teeth.

As a clinic recognised for no-prep and minimal-prep veneer dentistry, our philosophy has always been centered on preservation. We do not perform unnecessary reduction of healthy tooth structure. Every treatment plan is carefully designed based on the biological condition of the teeth at the time of assessment.
Veneers are not performed solely for aesthetic enhancement. When properly indicated, they are designed to strengthen natural teeth and extend their longevity. In cases where tooth structure has been compromised due to decay, previous restorations, or structural weakening, veneers are carefully planned to provide additional support and protection to the remaining healthy tissue. After removal of decay or unsupported enamel, additional preparation may become necessary to create a stable and durable foundation.
In certain situations, limited preparation may also be required to correct occlusion or bite discrepancies in order to achieve proper function, long-term stability, and to protect both the veneers and the natural teeth. This is never elective reduction, but a restorative and functional requirement aimed at ensuring structural integrity and long-term oral health.
Temporary restorations can occasionally become dislodged, particularly when teeth have been conservatively prepared and bonding surface is limited. While understandably distressing, this stage does not reflect the final aesthetic or functional outcome.

I travelled from Canada for dental services with Ekis Dental Clinic and had an awful experience. They had my review deleted from Google, claiming they couldn't find records of me being a patient, which is a lie. I have records.
⚠️The orthodontist’s assistant was purposely wiping off my makeup and laughing hysterically about it, not realizing I understood what she was saying.
⚠️They then pretended that they were closing, forcing me to wait outside for my driver. It was humiliating and unprofessional.
⚠️The braces were unnecessarily extended to the back, causing damage to my gums from the wiring.

I traveled to this clinic to get my top teeth done for an agreed price of $4,500 in whatsapp. However, once I arrived, they told me I couldn’t do just the top teeth—I was forced to do both the top and bottom, a total of 24 teeth. They also added extra procedures and demanded $11,000, refusing to proceed unless I paid and do all teeths. In the end, I wasted money traveling there for nothing. Their attitude was terrible, and they treated us like nothing more than cash cows to exploit.

This clinic is really a game-changer

I recently had minimal preparation veneers done at Ekiz Clinic, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! From start to finish, the team made the entire process smooth and comfortable. Dr. Ekiz was incredibly knowledgeable, explaining each step and ensuring that I was fully informed and at ease. The clinic itself is modern, clean, and welcoming.
The veneers look incredibly natural, enhancing my smile without feeling bulky or artificial. I really appreciated that the minimal prep technique preserved most of my natural teeth while still achieving the perfect aesthetic. Dr. Ekiz even showed me how much of my natural teeth would need to be prepped, and by the end of the process, I could barely tell if they had been shaved at all—it was that seamless! The whole treatment was also much quicker than I anticipated.
I highly recommend Ekiz Clinic for anyone considering cosmetic dental work. Their professionalism, expertise, and the quality of care they provide are outstanding!
