Elecology were hired as the installers by Hypervolt for my new EV charger. They did the install - and the person doing it was very nice - and all seemed well. However, after the install, I noticed that the electrics/power was no longer working in my outbuilding.

I contacted Elecology (Sam) to inform them of the situation. Their response was that my previous setup was not correct/as it best it should be and that was poor worksmanship by whoever did that originally. Whilst I agreed with them on that, my point was that the power was working previously and stopped working after their installation.

They disagreed and what I can only feel was they thought I was lying. Their conclusion was that the existing setup was the issue and they had done no wrong.

Since then, I got an electrician in and he spotted a previous cable had come loose. This was in the area where the new EV cables had been plugged into. So, the end result was that the Elecology installation had disturbed previous cables resulting in loss of power.

It was thoroughly disappointing to see this kind of post-installation service especially considering the good reviews and rating the company has and how nice the installer was. So, I'd be wary about using Elecology because if there is some issue after the installation, it might not be so easy to get them to have a look at it. They might try to palm it off so they don't have to send someone to come have a look. They won't even consider it's something they might have done wrong (unless it is to do with the EV charger itself).

Great Job , easy to book and obtain the original quote and were very helpful on advising the correct charging unit to be purchased. The installing was great, the install engineer arrived on time and she was so helpful with advise and teaching us how to use the charger. I would really recommend this company every part of the process was GREAT, a very happy customer and now been using the charger for a couple of weeks and have had no issues.

Responsive by email, clear and helpful and fast to book me in. Installation went great and the electricity company told me the charger they installed was an excellent product. Neat work, friendly and professional. Would recommend to anyone.

Can’t speak highly enough of the service from everyone I’ve dealt with at Elecology.
First off they were willing to take on the install at our house when 3 other firms had refused. Sam, who I dealt with said that he promised the job would be done to our satisfaction. Secondly when Dave and Mark arrived to do the work they described it as an 8.5 out of 10 challenge. They looked at different ways to get things done and set about things diligently and patiently. The installation was indeed done to our complete satisfaction including making good on the pathways and trenches they had to dig.
I thoroughly recommend them.

Very happy with the EV wall charger install. The engineer was great. Very neat job running the cable along the outside of the house and we managed to get it under the stairs after I removed a couple of floorboards, resulting in a tidy finish. Electricity only needed to be switched off for a very short time. The Hypervolt app was explained clearly. Everything left neat and tidy. Would definitely recommend

Excellent service and great communication was the basis for an easy installation of my EV charger. The team that arrived on the day, first discussed where I would like the EV charger before proceeding to lay dust sheets inside the property before completing the installation. After they cleaned up after themselves before explaining how to use the charger along with the app.
I would highly recommend them.

I was absolutely delighted throughout my entire experience with Elecology.

The whole process was so simple, clear and quite frankly a breeze. They arrived within the allotted time and the fitter was just brilliant. Super friendly, knowledgeable, explained everything in steps, involved me in all the decisions around placements and what he would be doing etc.

The installation was really smooth, my power was only off for approx. 5 minutes and everything was cleared up nicely once he had finished installing. He took me through the app in detail and took time to answer any questions I had and took the time to test everything with my car to ensure it worked without issue.

The overall service was just fantastic, I could not recommend them enough for fitting your EV charger. I ended up chatting with the fitter throughout the installation, a good 2 hours - never a moan or complaint, just brilliant service from start to finish.
