The news reporting here is extremely biased. The owner has a clear conflict of interest based on the stocks he owns. Instead of offering fair and impartial coverage, the publication only puts out sensational clickbait. Overall, it feels more like one person’s personal hate blog than a legitimate news outlet.

Fred Lambert’s leadership at Electrek is top-notch and unperturbed by outside influence calling things as he sees them grounded in rigorous evidence. Tesla fanboys beware…Electrek is nuanced and highly accurate in a plethora of analysis, this coming from a longtime TSLA shareholder.

Electrek has been my go-to for honest, reliable, and trustworthy EV news for almost a decade now. The weekly podcast is a great way to keep up with EV news on my commute.

A great source of news about electric vehicles and associated topics. I've visited the website for many months now, but was happy to find that there are also some podcasts options available as well.

I like electrek for its comprehensive and objective coverage of EV and energy news. The electrek podcast is one of my favorite and is always on my Playlist every week.
An important point for me is that the stories are sourced and reliable, with in-depth analysis.

I find them very well informed and a trustworthy source. They clearly have editorial opinions, but they seem to go out of their way to be extremely fair in their reporting and commentary. Great podcast as well!

Have been reading/listening to them for years and contrary to all the nonsensical comments about their anti-Tesla bias, if you actually listen to the Electrek podcast or read the articles, you'll see that there is both praise and criticism for Tesla where it is warranted. Unfortunately, there are just a lot more negative things surrounding Tesla these days as they flounder in the EV space, lie constantly about timelines, and struggle in the AI space. If you are looking for a news organization that twists itself into a pretzel just to turn bad news into praise for Tesla and Elon Musk, there are plenty of options out there to affirm your biases. Zak & Jesse's Tesla Time News has been doing this for years, so I suggest you go there.

Electrek and their podcasts adhere to journalistic ethics. They tell both the good and the bad about the transition to electric automobiles and the need to electrify everything. They stick to the facts, while vigorously refuting the nonsense from climate deniers and Elon-cult poopsnackers.

I've loved this podcast for years. Fred and Seth aren't afraid to tell it like they see it.

Fred and the Electrek team provide excellent balanced news on the electric mobility space. He and others on the site are in my opinion the most in depth and timely reporters in this space.

Electrek provides great coverage of EVs and related technology.

It’s not true that Electrek only gives negative information about Tesla. They offer high praise to the Model Y and Model 3. They say that Supervised Full Self Driving is the best ADAS system available. They correctly point out though that the promise of FSD being unsupervised is long overdue, impossible in the older Hardware 3 cars and unlikely anytime soon. The Robotaxi rollout has very few rides compared to Waymo and a far smaller fleet.

I’ve followed the EV and green tech industries closely prior even to the original (only ;) Tesla Roadster. Electrek quickly ended up, and still is, my first go to daily read. Their reporters practices fact based journalism with a hint of editorial opinion, in the tradition of NY Times or Globe & Mail. Sometimes lengthy articles go deep and their multimedia podcasts offer insightful analysis, reviews and interviews.

Would be 5 star, except Electrek can sometimes focus too much on people, instead of progress. Particularly Musk, as per all the haters here posting 1 star. Strange times when a man that created an industry, aligns with a president doing his best to destroy it.

I've been listening to the electrek podcast since before I bought my Tesla back in 2020. Throughout, Electrek has been a reliable source of news and insights into the EV landscape.

Electrek is a place that shines a light not only on the good, but also the bad. In recent years Telsa has veered away from its mission ""to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy". Electrek is not afraid to lament and shine a spotlight on the sacrifice of such a noble mission to the altar of the AI and humanoid robots and some of the other recent unscrupulous behavior of Elon.

This clearly creates some enemies among hardcore Elon fans but all credit to Fred and Seth for not allowing their reporting to be silenced by them.

Constant inflated and biased garbage sold as news.

I agree with many other posters. I find nearly every article to be very anti-Tesla, so there is no credibility for me. Whether it is constant bad news about Tesla or pumping up competitive EVs, I have to filter out their articles.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Fred is the most biased hatelful journalist I have ever read articles written by. He hates Tesla and just spends all his time writing articles to slander Tesla. Not journalism, but rather Slanderism. Terrible.
