Incredible Price

The price is what initially made me decide to purchase this this LG tv. The excellent service I got at the Cookeville, TN store was a bonus! I knew about this store, in particular, because they helped me out with an appliance package after Home Depot had promised delivery and the day before they were supposed to deliver, they delayed my order for a month! You can't go wrong with the Cookeville, TN store. Matt was extra helpful.

Don’t bother with the 90 days same as cash

Bought a fridge and stove on the 90 days same as cash. Turns out it’s not actually 90 days same as cash. They charge you tax every time you make a payment. The larger the amount you pay the higher the taxes. That’s where they get they get you. Paying off in 90 days just assures them they get paid fast. Other than that service was great and the appliances are great.

The Cookeville manager was rude and…

The Cookeville manager was rude and made it a point to let me know customer is wrong and store right, when I went to pick up an item I ordered and paid for online 7 hours after my purchase even though the item was at the store I have to wait for an email telling me when I can pick up! Ridiculous I ordered from Amazon got same price and delivered before I got “the magic email” will NEVER shop at this store again and will make sure I tell all my friends. Manager is a major jerk!

While many online pickup orders are processed quickly, some orders are temporarily held for additional security and fraud-prevention checks handled by a third-party verification team. When this happens, the order cannot be released until the follow-up confirmation email is sent. The initial email you received does explain this process and asks customers to wait for that final notification before coming to the store, which is why our manager was unable to release the item at that time.

That said, we regret that the interaction felt rude or dismissive. Our goal is always to communicate policies respectfully and professionally, even when the answer isn’t what a customer was hoping for. We’ll be reviewing this feedback to ensure expectations are explained more clearly and with greater empathy moving forward.

We understand you chose to shop elsewhere afterward, but we still appreciate you giving us a chance and sharing your perspective. Your feedback helps us improve how we serve our customers.

Great Customer Service !

Even with me being agitated and worried about whether my computer was going to get here because i had never ordered on theyre website before its always been in store purchases for us. I was grateful for Beck who looked into the order for me even took screen shots. I didnt know that them using Amazon was all new. To add they are always so friendly to us. That helps a lot for business.

The price was very good I’ll give them that… but the item I bought I had it shipped to the store , I went to pick it up and they had already taken it out of the box it’s a Christmas present and I can’t wrap the item without the box it came in….

Electronic Express in Cookeville is a…

Electronic Express in Cookeville is a complete dumpster fire and a stain on Tennessee businesses. We dropped $12,000 on appliances, fooled by their fake reviews and the pathetic myth that a Tennessee-owned company gives a damn about customer service. Total scam! They butchered the installation, spitting on every promise they made and leaving us stranded. They shoved damaged appliances full of dents and scratches down our throats, banking on us being too stupid to notice their junk. An assistant manager spewed lies about fixing it, only for them to call the next day and demand more money for installation we already paid for upfront. To top it off, we spoke to a manager at the Nashville location who was outright rude, treating us like garbage for daring to complain. Their customer service is a disgusting sham—dishonest, useless, and infuriatingly arrogant. Avoid this pitiful excuse for a store unless you love being scammed and disrespected.

By the way, Ethan was a pleasure to work with and tried to help - but the others in the store was a waste of time and effort. I noticed that the owner responds to these reviews but offers nothing to address issues in his response. Only saying things like “it’s unfortunate” or “we hope to do better to regain your trust”.

My plan is if we don’t resolve this issue in the next few days, I’m going to load $12k worth of high end appliance on my trailer, haul them to the Cookeville store and camp out in their parking lot with a huge banner saying how I was scammed and sell my appliance in the parking lot for penny’s on the dollar. It has absolutely nothing to do with the cost it’s all about principal.

Thank you for the feedback, Mr. Hatcher. Your review has been forwarded to multiple internal teams to look into the situation. Store management has provided me additional details that have also been forwarded to internal teams.

I understand that you heard comments from our home delivery department while our delivery team had them on speaker phone, comments that don't represent the service we want to provide customers, and we understand why you found such comments unacceptable. We also find them unacceptable and will be investigating who the delivery crew was speaking to.

Based on what I've been informed of, our delivery crew did the right thing by showing your wife the damaged washer before attempting installation. If other appliances have damage, please let us know where the damage can be found and we will review the pictures our delivery crew took on-site.

I do want to air that we didn't demand more money from you, only that the installation services you expected on the column fridge/freezer(s) were not paid for during your original purchase 2 years ago. We are not sure what was communicated 2 years ago other than the delivery notes stating "deliver and install dishwasher, drop off fridge/ freezer". Nonetheless, the store manager offered a 50% discount on installation services for the column fridge/freezer installation after the undue frustration of receiving a damaged washer, then contacted district management to request permission to further lower the cost to free installation when you expressed your dissatisfaction.

I also understand that we didn't install your dishwasher due to incomplete household plumbing. On this, there is only so much we can do on-site to complete a dishwasher installation and our delivery crews aren't trained or equipped to install plumbing. Sorry to be so matter-of-fact in this section of my response, but we truly are limited. If the plumbing continues to be incomplete, making us unable to complete the installation, you are entitled to a refund. We apologize that this necessity was not properly communicated.

I have been informed that Daniel has been maintaining active communication and we hope a resolution can be reached. Thank you

Our salesman Daniel Perlongo was very professional…shared everything we needed to know about our dishwasher and did it in a way that we felt like we made a new friend. He’s a real asset to your business!

I will avoid this place like a Plague…

I went to the Electronic Express in Cookeville Tennessee on May 7, 2025, and bought a washing machine. Having to drive into town puzzled me since nearly all bigger establishments will let the consumer pay over the phone. When I asked, I was told " company policy." After paying for it they delivered it on the 9th. The delivery men brought the machine into the house, but didn't install it. I installed it because I was told there was an extra charge to have them install it. After they left, I hooked everything up on the machine, and tried to start it, but all it did was make a grinding noise. After looking in the manual at the self-help section, I felt like I could get it to work. I started it, and it looked like it was working. But as fast as the water was pouring into the machine, it was coming out the bottom just as fast. After shutting everything down, I spent the next 40 minutes mopping up an inch of water in my laundry room, and using a mountain of towels. I also looked under the machine, and was shocked to see the brackets holding the main motor for the machine was broken with one completely missing. I right away called the store, and was informed there was nothing they could do about the situation until the following Monday as far as the return. And the manager also told me they couldn't pick up the machine until the 9th. Even though I hadn't had the machine more than an hour, and it poured water out the bottom the Manager was very cold about the fact that it was again " company policy". The delivery men picked the machine up on May 9, and the Manager at the store told me that the refund process would begin when they got the machine back to Nashville to be checked over. I called on May 16, 2025 to see how the return process was going, and found out the process had not even begun. After much talk the return process began on the 16th. However, after looking on the return invoice I was puzzled to see that I was charged one cent for the delivery guys NOT to install my machine. I was also charged one cent for a delivery charge when I was told the day I bought it there was no delivery charge. And when I mentioned it I was told if I disputed it the return process would take longer. One cent may not seem like a lot of money, but if it is collected off of numerous people, it would eventually add up to a sizeable sum. And besides, it seemed like a slap in the face considering all that I went through.
Everything said, this establishment is not a place I would ever do business with again. Based on my experience this place has no regard for customer satisfaction. If Electronic Express has a flashy sale, I would be wary as far as the service after the sale. They will take your money in a heartbeat, but if you have an issue with the shoddy merchandise, good luck getting anything accomplished on your behalf. Buyer beware!

(Update): I finally received back to my credit card a refund for the broke- from- the- factory-washing machine. But the curious thing is they kept two cents of my refund. They gave me a line of gibberish about it was a line item charge, and the other cent was something to do with fuel. Double speak to placate me. Now people reading this might think I am being petty about this small amount, but regardless of what these yahoos are telling me, the money doesn't just vanish. Someone, somewhere is collecting the hard currency. And over a broad span of customers being skimmed for that amount, it will add up. All I can say is the "corporate rules" that dictate how this place treats their customers has driven this customer to do business elsewhere. Caveat emptor

We apologize for not being able to pick up your defective machine right away. Our delivery teams must adhere to a set schedule to ensure that every customer receives their orders on time. Backtracking is not feasible, as it can disrupt the schedules for other customers on the route.

We are glad to hear that your refund has now been processed. Your review has been forwarded to the returns department to investigate why the process was delayed.

Regarding the 1-cent charge, it is an administrative line item that only reflects the added delivery drop-off service. We are not able to make profit off this 1 cent since fuel and labor immediately negate any money earned from the charge.

Flawless!

It was quick! The guys installing were very nice and even asked which direction I preferred the washer and dryer to face.

World Class Customer Service from ordering to delivery.

Electronic Express was unbelievable in customer service from ordering online to delivery. They kept me updated on when my purchase would be delivered and kept me posted by text, email and phone call and they delivered within minutes of when they said they would.
Incredibly impressed. Highly recommend them to everyone!

Above and beyond customer service

We found a phenomenal deal on an 85” TCL online. I called the store and had the pleasure of speaking with Cade Gatling. He said the TV was in stock. We were greeted on arrival at the store and met Cade. He answered all our questions, made the purchase process easy and insured our TV was loaded safely and secured for the drive home. He offered to follow me home to help unload. I assured him that I had that taken care of. Cade especially but other staff as well went Above and Beyond our expectations. We will return.

Customer service

Ordered what I needed and reminded me on several occasions that it had arrived and was available to be picked up.
We're diligent and careful about loading into my SUV. Took extra time to unjam the seatbelt that was in the way and made sure it was slid gar enough in to close easily without touching back window.
I also, wanted a Samsung tablet and the one I wanted was not available so the employee went the extra mile and found a replacement tablet that was a newer version and $100 less.
My only disappointment was that my tablet was not included in the 18 month promotion. Now I'm concerned about how much interest I will be paying on the tablet and how my monthly payment will be applied.
