Should not be allowed to operate
I am reaching out to share a really disappointing encounter I’ve had with this company’s solicitation practices. Despite my requests to be removed from their communication lists, the process has been incredibly difficult. They are requiring my VIN and vehicle mileage just to opt-out, but I never opted in and my experience with their phone support was quite upsetting.
During the call, the agent initially used the correct pronouns but then shifted to calling me "Sir" and refused to connect me with a supervisor despite my repeated requests and corrections. After several minutes of this, the call was disconnected by the agent. When I tried calling back, I ran into the same roadblocks. It's especially annoying and frustrating because while they keep sending "final notices," the communications just seem to continue regardless of my efforts to stop them.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! They sent a letter to my elderly mother with the words "Time Sensitive" on the top in big red letters. She called them and asked what they were and if they were her insurance company and they said yes, we need to set you up with a contract. She agreed and gave them her credit card into over. They set a fixed income senior citizen up on a reoccurring monthly charge of $169. This isn't the worst though. When my mom and I called them to cancel Michael was extremely rude. Taked over both of us and kept confusing my mom about what she signed up for. She was reduced to tears during the conversation after listening to me request to cancel over 80 times in this single conversation. They prey on the elderly and make it almost impossible to cancel. I'm still not 100% sure this was canceled as they will send a letter proving cancellation. Refused to send anything in an email. They are shady and should not be allowed to operate. If I hadn't gone through my mom's bills, she would have continued to pay them $169 a month on a 2020 chevy that has less than 5k miles. Someone needs to do something about this,

I dont need your coverage nor do i want your coverage. and everytime i tell you to remove my name from your list whom ever i talk to wants to argue with me about it.Take my name off of your list. if it continues i will file a complaint with the BBB and also the state of Missouri and will be talking to my attorney about filing a harrasment suite against your company and giving you a 1 star review evertime i recieve another notice.

Letter from what it looks like Tesla. I recently purchased a vehicle with Tesla so I always get mail. Nowhere does it say Eleras automotive group. I called they had my information. They said I didn’t buy the warranty when I purchased the car and they are teslas warranty. They said it was 192 for warranty 2 years and 5 years free. Gave my card info thinking it’s teslas warranty company. Card declined by bank. Called bank and they said numerous reports of issues to merchant so it didn’t go through and reported as fraud. He was very pushy to getting me to use a different card. His name was Joshua Scott of Eleras Automotive Group. I became skeptical and decided to call Tesla. They confirmed I did have warranty and had no affiliation to Eleras Automotive group. Once I confronted the sales rep I was put on hold and they couldn’t give me an answer. They lied to me about my warranty when they did not know. This is very misleading and I could only imagine how many people fall for it. I began doing research and seeing all the reviews of people in my exact situation. So crazy how the government allows a legit business here in the U.S to do this to innocent people. I would have become victim if it weren’t for my bank.
The company marketer misled the total charges.
I just bought a three years old work van with 45,000 miles on it. The seller went to the local dealership and transferred the warranties at the local dealership.
Later, I got a call to confirm the mileage on the new van.
I thought it was a call from the local dealership. I never heard about this Eleras Automotive Group.
The clerk requested to pay $197, and I suspected it was a transfer fee for the warranties. Only after the transaction was processed he explained that it was an Extended Warranty Contract, and will be charged a MONTHLY payment of $197,00.
I immediately requested to cancel the agreement, and refund the payment. But he declined and said I have to call back later.
Apparently it was a third party company called Eleras Automotive Group.
When I called them to cancel the agreement and get a refund, I spent about 15 minutes arguing with the employee. I requested about 5-6 times to close my Contract, and get a refund for the first payment. Now they wanted me to get a notarized cancellation letter with the vehicle mileage on it.
A very complicated process to cancel the agreement, and a lot of pressure, but a very quick and simple process to get on the hook.

Purchased a policy with them over the phone, provided vin number and all but when I needed to get my vehicle’s transmission replaced. I was told that they don’t cover Canadian vehicles which you can clearly see my vehicle was Canadian by the vin number. Had to come out of pocket for repairs which was well over $2,000 dollars. They still haven’t reached out to refund me for the purchase. Will be filing a complaint with all receipts regarding this deceptive business practice

Terrible company but amazing staff

Received a piece of mail stating it was from GM and that my vehicles protection ended, providing an ID number plus a number to call.
The automated greeting was fast, when the agent answered he asked for my ID#. I asked the company name. He stated Eleras, but with a tone that appeared to me as condescending, as if I should have known, or shouldn't have asked the question and simply given the ID#.
I calmly stated that I asked the company name because it isn't stated on my letter, and that I feel it's information I should know.
However, the employee said, "I don't know what your deeper issues are, " but I didn't say it that way.
If it was simply a misunderstanding, he only had to say that isn't what he intended and sorry if that was how it seemed.
That statement alone was unnecessary and offensive. All this over me asking the company name.
I said I didn't want to do business with that company and hung up.

This another fraudulent scam received a letter that my coverage for my truck was expiring. This is a total BS. What is up with these people. Beware. Matter of fact is one two many.

Talked with company. Thought they were a part of my warranty. They're not. I gave them my account information by mistake. Found out that they are not part of my warranty. After they had my information I was threatened that they could access my bank account without my authority. I went to my bank ASAP and changed my account. DONT' GET INVOLVED.

Christine Bridwell it’s a great asset to your company her follow through from start to finish is exceptional. Her commitment to servicing. The customer is exceptional. She’s very knowledgeable in her job and she’s very easy to talk to on the phone. She makes you feel very comfortable and she listens well. She does not want to leave the customer hanging and she goes above and beyond to make sure that from start to finish everything is taking care of. There’s nothing left undone, I’m truly grateful that I did get her to be the one that called me. I’m very grateful for it she’s a definite leader in your company.

Lindsey provided me with excellent customer service and was very professional she made sure that all my needs regarding my warranty were fulfilled before we disconnected off of the phone. I was actually thinking about going to another company regarding my warranty before I talked to Lindsey because of what I was told prior to talking to her.
