1 star top much for these clowns.thet want £10 towards a bill that's already been paid over a year ago. The challenge for them will be to convince a judge it's legal. I have looked into it

Obnoxious and intransigent. Letter chasing up a debtor who may (or may not) have lived at the address before my daughter bought it in 2023.
Now SHE has to prove that it's her address. Not her problem!!! Also, they refused to discuss with me as I'm not the property owner. This was after they failed to reply to an earlier email.

I keep receiving text messages from these demanding payment. Saying they've sent me letters (there have been no letters) for a parking fine in Swindon (I've never been to Swindon. Won't tell me the address they have on file (Its not any address i have ever lived at) and they won't provide me with the car reg that has received the parking notice either. It is clearly a case of mistaken identity from when I have bought a car but they have been zero help. When put on "hold" for them to discuss internally and get advice on how to proceed, unfortunately they didn't mute. Hearing someone give advise of "tell him tough s**t" and laugh is really great stuff.
They also don't answer the phone 90% of the time, and don't reply to emails.

Clearly scaremongers.

This parking fine isn't even for me, but really unprofessional people. I would hate to actually have to deal with them if I did have to pay them

I can't muster up enough effort to write this review so I'll cut to the chase. £100 fine from tesco for loading/unloading for 3 minutes and 18 seconds. IAS appeal failed.

Magically, empira, owned by Gladstones solicitors, sends me a letter demanding £170. I argue on and off for 4 months about the legality of what they're doing (literally aren't allowed to charge the extra £70 according to the international parking code, with the motion being paused as a debate in parliament since 2019.)

One night, I say fk this, and pay. £170 gone. If I had waited, idk, 3 more months, I probably would've received mail from Gladstones btiching about a CCJ 🤓☝️. I'm an idiot for paying and I wish I hadn't, but hey, luckily finances were marginally good enough to pay the useless gimps.

To conclude: the tactics include making you wait, telling you on the phone that they don't know anything regarding when letters are sent (apparently suddenly don't work for the company) and telling you that installments aren't available.

Tried setting up a payment plan 3 times now with this company. They resorting to scare mongering and not helpful with pushy emails and staff when you do phone up and get through that is.

They wont listen and cause undue stress. I am disabled and ive tried to sort a payment plan where its affordable to me but they keep insisting on scare tactics which is causing mu illness to flare more.

Id understand if i wasnt going to pay but they keep threatening further action if its not set up.

I have all emails to prove ive tried to set it up on my finances but they keep refusing.

Joke of a company and should be ashamed of their behaviour.

I received a hand written Removal Notice on Tuesday, someone else's name on and no address. It said they'll come with their removal contractors one morning at 6am. I was obviously worried though its probably a scam as I owe no money. No one at Empira answered the phone or answered my email with a picture of the letter. Being its a printed headed letter with their name on, they should have the decency to contact me, and put my fears at ease. Every morning I worried someone would bang on my door.

I tried to talk to someone regarding a paid ticket, and because i couldn’t provide the reference number, instead of listening and trying to help, Simon , hang up the phone on me without even trying.
I paid the ticket and they didn’t even send me a confirmation.

Believe all the negative reviews. I was not rude not once, first the lady spoke normally and then switched! Soon I said I’m not paying as I didn’t receive a letter and knew nothing about this fine that was apparently issued in febraury (Tesco car park). How did they get my number? She was trying to intimidate me telling me they will win the case in court and it’ll be going to Gladstones etc. Rushed/forced to give my address which I was going to give anyways but when she repeatedly asked for my address like I was trying to avoid giving it and she had to ensure it was updated so they can continue harassing me I found it very strange. I’m a single parent and disabled with severe mental health problems, apparently I had gone over parking time but disabled users have longer parking time for a reason I can’t walk very fast and have a young child with with me. They have no empathy, heartless people work for this company that need to be investigated for being unprofessional and picking on the vulnerable. Thieves !!!

This has to one of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune to deal with rang about an extortionate parking fee for my was prepared to pay in full told me they couldn't contact smart parking if that's so how did they get her details and amount owed 🤦🤷Were not even prepared to discuss a settlement fee nor haven't provided a receipt for payment which will be cancelled soon. I just wish I had dealing with them from the start. Can't get speaking to a manager again what sort of company runs without a manager 🤷.Atrocious company one star is to much for them .My advice stay away don't admit it is you after 6 years the debt is wiped. Threatening with baillifs so stupid they don't realise we don't have baillifs in Northern Ireland as I said I wish I had seen the letter first it would have been a different scenario. SCAMMERS

Had a letter of enforcement of these guys after reading the reviews I was thinking the worst when phoned the to set up payment t plan.
But the person I spoke to can't reamber her name but she was amazing very helpful and no question was to much

Don’t accept direct debits and carnt be found on interested there office shows different rude on phone and not registered with fca plus not a claimed profile on trustpilot

Got an email stating I have to pay unsettled money for some PCN haha. First thing first, PCN's are sent in to your car registered address via post. That's the law. You have a right to pay discounted amount of fine in 14 days of receiving letter. If you don't pay it then you have to pay full amount. Before it goes to any debt collecting agency you will receive at least three letters where the last one is a final notice to pay before sending to enforcement agency. This company is a scam, going through government debtors database and threatning people who are already in some kind of debts to pay more money. Silly people. I am more than happy for you to come over to my house and try to take any action hahaha

I have just been contacted by this company today, I have a disabled vunruable child under 16, they are threatening to come to remove goods.
I have offered to pay the bill off next week as I have no money this week.
Very frustrating, scary it upset me and children I had with me as we had just been out. If I could give no stars I would. Sickening, disgusting unethical, unprofessional and no proof, legitimate proof I did what they say. Due to me sending numerous emails they are still threatening to turn up when they know our extremely vulnerabilities.

Bad things will happen to this company and its employees. Mark my word.

Most unethical, dehumanising and disrespectful company I’ve ever dealt with. Words cannot do justice.

Company contacted me on my works email address which is a BREACH of GDPR. Also they are trying to get money off me on behalf of Horizon which I have already paid and have confirmation in writing. This makes me think this is a scam.

This company is the worsted I've had always threatening me when I've vulnerable
I ask for statement of wot I've payed and the interest there keep adding on but no I get nothing when ya should buy law get one every year
And my online account omg how many time there mess that up and I've pointed it out just to be threatened

This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their agents are aggressive, intimidating, and show no regard for the law — even when it’s spelled out to them. They showed up at my home and behaved in a way that was completely unprofessional and downright disgusting. They do not care about your age, gender, or circumstances.

The phone support is just as bad, if not worse. I was spoken to with complete disrespect. One of their staff even told me, “You’re not a customer, you’re a debt.” This level of dehumanization is absolutely shocking.

I tried to explain that I am receiving support for my mental health, and instead of showing understanding, I was told to “go and get professional help.” It was condescending, cruel, and unacceptable.

This company thrives on intimidating vulnerable people. It feels like they are trained to be hostile rather than helpful. They need serious training on how to treat people with basic decency and compassion.

Avoid them at all costs. They should be investigated and held accountable for the way they operate.
