Many thanks to Tim and his team at Enerton for guiding us through our recent solar journey. After receiving several quotes from our energy supplier and other companies, it seemed our property was unsuitable for solar—with one company even quoting over £5,000 for just 4 panels.

That is where Enerton made all the difference. Tim arrived punctually and spent considerable time understanding our goals, assessing how best to approach our East/West roof, and walking us through different panel styles. Notably, he was the only installer who actually got up on the roof to measure and used a drone for a detailed inspection.

Following a second survey, Tim successfully designed a layout for 17 Longi Ecolife panels. The East-heavy orientation maximizes morning production to our Tesla Powerwall, while afternoon and early evening generation covers battery top-ups and additional profit made from export tariffs.
The installation was fast, tidy, and highly professional. We went from the second survey to full commissioning in under two weeks. The team worked around our schedule, staying into the evening to complete the bulk of the work in just two days. By lunchtime on the final day, the system was commissioned and fully operational. They took great care to preserve the roof, left the site spotless each day, and even cleared out the gutters before the scaffolding came down.

Our reliance on the grid has dropped significantly, easing our concerns over frequent village power outages, with the option to add a second Powerwall later if needed.

We have no hesitation in recommending Tim and Enerton Renewables to anyone—whether you have a straightforward south-facing roof or a more complex property like our old cottage.

Tim and his team did a great job installing our solar panels and battery. They were the only company out of the ten I enquired with that bothered to do an in-person site survey. Fitting the battery in the cellar was an unusual job for a few other installers, but Enerton took it and made it perfect. Professional throughout, and they left the place clean. Highly recommended.

I can only echo the good reviews that others have made. The whole process from initially meeting with Tim to getting the panels and batteries fitted was extremely professional. My learning curve for solar and batteries was huge and Tim took the time to explain the process. There is a key focus on aesthetics which was very important to us. The installation was quick and the team were very efficient and polite. If you are looking for solar and batteries then I would absolutely recommend Enerton.

We chose Enerton Energy for our solar installation and couldn’t be happier with the result. From the very beginning it was clear they cared about doing a high-quality job rather than simply making a sale. They carried out a detailed drone survey, talked us through all the available options and the implications of each, and gave us confidence that we were in safe hands throughout the process.

The attention to detail during the installation was outstanding. The fit and finish are exceptionally neat, from the panel layout and bird-proof mesh to the battery installation and the trunking for the electrical cabling. Everything looks professionally planned and executed.

No installation is completely without hiccups. In our case, a courier failed to deliver a required part, meaning the work couldn’t be completed on the planned Sunday. The team returned on Monday, arrived later than originally expected and ended up working until around 10pm to finish the installation. While the delay was frustrating, I really appreciated that they stayed until the job was completed rather than leaving it unfinished.

Their follow up post install has been just as impressive. Whenever we’ve had questions they’ve responded quickly, including taking the time to give us a training session on safely disarming and rearming the system ahead of our DNO fuse replacement visit.

Overall, Enerton Energy gave us complete confidence from start to finish. Their workmanship, attention to detail and commitment to doing the job properly really set them apart. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a quality solar installer. A well-deserved 5 stars.

The Enerton team, led by Tim, are just incredible. From initial contact to the quote and installation we were so impressed. On arrival, a drone was sent up to analyse our roof and opportunities for solar on our specific property. Tim had already checked via Google to see what potential our roof had, so was prepared. The proposal was thorough, insightful and fair. We had 3 quotes from different local companies and found Enerton to be the fairest price for what we wanted. The team completing the installation were fantastic, working on a really hot day, to ensure our system was working perfectly. We are already saving so much money right from the start. Tim is so painstakingly about greener energy and doing what we all can for the planet. We are extremely happy and will be reconnecting to any friends getting solar.

What an amazing experience from Enerton renewables, from start to finish the planning process was smooth, installation process went to plan and the final result was something that we were really pleased with.
Tim's explanation and guidance throughout the whole installation was detailed and very well explained, this left us at ease and with a sense of trust working on our home. The follow up and aftercare was also great to, Tim answered all our questions and provided detailed responses with a detailed guide on how we could positively benefit from our new PV and battery system. I have absolutely no hesitation on recommending this company.

I had looked at several solar companies and through a recommendation, led to use Enerton Limited. Our roof design gave Tim a Rubik’s-cube to solve, and he did! Solar panels on 5 roofs, with 4 at a steep angle, wiring all hidden compactly away from sight, keeping the property aesthetically unharmed. The planning and design were detailed and explicit throughout all our conversations.
The timetable was tight! The team were professional, hardworking and very efficient which made its timetable even more challenging due to several bouts of rain pelting down.
The training was made clear and simplified for my level and Tim took much of the lead to make sure that I was truly comfortable prior to leaving the premises.
This all leads to believe that Enerton will be a successful company if it holds its standards and I would gladly recommend the company.

Octopus could not install the system I needed so recommended Enerton renewables as one of their trusted partner companies . I am very impressed by the service Enerton Renewables have given since the original commissioning of my system, which included panels, inverter and batteries. Whenever problems have arisen, for example by my installing a car charger, and installers necessarily disconnecting the PV system, or my changing from one internet provider to another, they have been excellent in getting the system back up and running never complaining about the extra work that they have been required to do, and which they have done in a professional and friendly way. From start to finish, Tim and his team delivered an exceptional level of professionalism and support throughout our solar installation project. They were not only informative but genuinely helpful, guiding us through each stage and ensuring we made the right decisions with confidence.

One detail that truly stood out was their commitment to customer satisfaction. Although our project was agreed upon last year and deposits were already paid, the company upgraded our originally purchased battery—at no additional cost—following a product update. This gesture spoke volumes about their integrity and dedication to creating a positive experience for their clients.

The team from Enerton were superb from start to finish. The design took a bit of work to incorporate an existing back-up generator, but nothing was too much trouble for them in getting the design approved and then testing once installed. Prompt, polite and professional and very well informed and took all the time needed to take me though everything and even help with the paperwork to deal with Electricity Company. Brilliant job.

I had Solar panels, battery & EV charger installed by Enerton after a previous appalling experience with Octopus. I can wholeheartedly recommend Enerton as a company. My experience with them was a breath of fresh air. Prior to install, everything was carefully discussed with attention for detail and taking into account my wishes and needs. They were well organised, well-prepared, appointments and timelines were kept and they did in 2 days what Octopus could not do over 5 months. After service so far has also been good. This is definitely THE local company to go to !

I would highly recommend Enerton, for a few different reasons:

1. Attention to detail - they showed real pride in their work, and wanted to make everything as neat as possible, both for the solar panels and the electrical work inside for the inverter and batteries. The garage where they installed looks neater now than it did when they started.

2. Listening - I had asked for a quote for 30 panels, but wanted to know if more were possible. They clearly spent time working out the best set up, and were able to fit 40 panels with some creative thinking.

3. Reliability - they did what they said they were going to do when they said they would do it.

4. Capability - with a complex setup at our house, they were recommended by Octopus as one of a few firms who would be able to help.

5. Determination to make us happy with the install - even the post installation support has been timely and very helpful.

If you are considering solar panels, I would definitely ask them for a quote.
