Scamming unsuspecting tourists

I bought a tourist sim for 2 Euro and had to register with my ID. I then topped it up and bought a plan online for 10 Euro - which never worked. I spoke with chat bot who lacked empathy and told me I’d only topped up and subsequently I was charged 1 euro per MB for data. I tried to complain through the 136 line but it said my number (the number belonging to epic) was not in operation. Really poor all round - avoid - just theft. Update - I phoned through another number and was told I couldn’t have a refund or the package I had paid for as it was my fault for picking the wrong one airtime not pack. None of this is clearly labelled. Poor service all round and no empathy. I also discovered to my horror the chat bot was an actual person!

Most bad company ever .. I m in business trip in eur and internet working call can't make and can t receive .. I v called them 2 times and can t help . Lost a lot because of them fricking bad service .. never ever again with them

Κυπριακό e-sim στο εξωτερικό

Kατοχος Κυπριακού mobile e-sim (ενναλαξ με το Ελληνική sim) που βρισκομαι στην Ελλαδα για το Πασχα και έτυχε να αλλαξω σε καινούργιο κινητο αλλα χρειαζεται αναγκαστικά το qr code εγκαταστασης ΑΛΛΑ να μην θέλουν να στο στελνουν. Τους ζήτησα ευγενικά να το στειλουν στο email εγγραφής αμα είναι θέμα επαλήθευσης του αιτούντος αλλά δεν τους ενδιαφέρει .. 'αυτές ειναι οι διαδικασίες' μου λένε .. ετσι απλά για να σου κάνουν την ζωή δύσκολη .. "μονο με φυσική παρουσια μου σε καταστημα της EPIC στην Κυπρο!' σου λένε .. 'μα δεν είμαι Κυπρο' τους λές .. 'πως θα γίνει αυτό? 'είμαι εξωτερικό χωρίς νούμερο και με προβλήματα σε όλες τις εφαρμογές που έχουν σαν τηλ επαφής το Κυπριακό νούμερο & δεν μπορεί να γινει επαλήθευση' .. σε φερνουν σε τόσο δύσκολη θέση με τις διαδιακασίες τους και το κακό είναι ότι δεν ενδιαφερονται να σου βρούν λύση ... ειλικρινά και χωρίς υπερβολή, το CUSTOMER SERVICE στα ΧΕΙΡΟΤΕΡΑ του!

Absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs

Misinformation and Unacceptable Customer Service

The employee at the Paralimni store was extremely rude and dismissive, speaking to me this way in front of other customers.

After being told by customer support (136) that my iPhone was repaired and ready for pickup, I drove 42 km to the store, only to be told it wasn’t there.

No apology was offered—instead, I was blamed, ignored, and left embarrassed while the employee served others. Completely unacceptable customer service.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs, just go to Cyta straight away even if it's more expensive. The mobile speed is not limited. Customer service is shocking, signed up for the broadband, waited for half a year after I signed a contract and still didn't get anything when I visited them in person they said to call the customer services when called they said my contract doesn't exist. Moved to Cyta and got billed for the whole month, make sure you leave at the end of the month even if your contract would expire at the beginning of the month. Came to the store for the last time to check that it is as actually the last bill waited in a queue for half an hour only to get 2 Cypriots jump the queue who came after me and their customer service actually served them first!!! Good job I left and will never look back. Cyta by the way installed the broadband the next working day!!!!! And I mean fiber with the new fiber optics cable to the house and WiFi 7 router for free!

I signed my contract on December and agreed to have it connected at January 14th. They came at January 14th and could not connect it because they had bad planning and they saw the house next to me. I said ok, we are humans, we make mistakes but i kindly asked them not to delay too much since i ended my contract with the previous provider. At the moment, i am still waiting, two months from signature date and one month after their first attempt to connect it. I called many times and they keep saying that they reported it and someone is going to call me asap from the technical department. No need to say that nobody called ever! I am furious and I am wondering how come did i not cancel my subscription yet!!!

Worst company ever...15 euros delay payment and always charge for delay even for one day..never heard of this..they cut my number bcs i delayed 1 payment of 16 euros and now i have to pay another 5 euros for connection... never uses this number only twice a month and always charge more....never do contract with them.....when u contract finish it goes more if u dont see the email and press agree so it remains the same...other companies calls u and notifies you for your contract..they dont you must not miss their email..bcs doesnt let me period of experience..for the last 2 months

The worstest customer support i‘ve ever…

The worstest customer support i‘ve ever seen in my life! They told me fiber connection activation takes about 1 month. Now i got a message it takes 3,5 months. 3,5months without ethernet at home?! And i cant work. Customer support is not helpful and they are very bad. I would never make a contract again here.

My BAD experience with EPIC – AWAY!

"I had a contract with Epic for €46 per month, and their employee, Mr. P., suggested on his own that I could switch contracts and pay €31 per month. However, I had to pay €50-60 for the device. That day, I only had money to pay the monthly subscription, a few days before the end of August. He tells me, 'No problem, because we're moving [offices or systems?], you can pay for the device, I'll set up the new connection for you, and I'll cancel the old one at the end of the month.'
I set up the new connection, but Mr. P. did not cancel the old one (at least to terminate the old contract at the end of the month). About 10 days later, I received a letter to pay €7 for something I still haven't understood. I went and asked the same person, 'What are these €7?' and he says, 'It's for the new package.'
'Okay, didn't I pay everything?' Anyway, I paid them.
The next letter came again for €46; I thought it was for the previous month when I had the old connection (the old contract). Again, €46 came; I went back to Epic to ask, 'What's going on?' Mr. P. checks and tells me, 'Everything is fine, you'll get €31, sometimes double charges come.' I reply, 'Double charges? I've been with Epic for 2-3 years, first time I've heard of this.'
The next day I go to pay, they tell me at the cashier '€69.' The Epic employee even blamed me on top of that, saying I have two connections and that I'm responsible for having both. Over the next 4-5 days, I went and terminated the connection, I didn't pay anything, I returned the device (which I used for ONLY 1 month), they didn't refund me the €50-60 I paid for the device, but they want me to pay €91.
Let me ask, who protects us from such unacceptable actions? Do telecommunications companies just do whatever they want on their own? What are the competent authorities that oversee them?"

Removal of my credit without notice

Dear Epic Customer Support,
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the removal of prepaid credit from my account without my consent.
My prepaid SIM is fully registered and active, and there has been no breach of registration requirements or applicable laws on my part. Despite this, my available prepaid balance was removed without clear justification, prior notice, or my authorisation.
Please note that prepaid credit represents funds already paid by the consumer. Under Cyprus and EU consumer protection law, any forfeiture of prepaid credit must be:
clearly stated in the contract,
transparent and prominently disclosed,
applied correctly and proportionately.
I request the following in writing:
The exact contractual clause under Epic’s Terms and Conditions that was used to justify the removal of my prepaid credit;
The date and reason the credit was removed;
Confirmation of whether prior notice was issued, and if so, when and how;
The restoration of the removed credit, or a clear legal explanation if Epic refuses to do so.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the complaint to the Cyprus Consumer Protection Service and the Office of the Commissioner of Electronic Communications and Postal Regulation (OCECPR) for review of potential unfair commercial practices.
I look forward to your written response

Καμια εξυπηρετηση

Η εξυπηρετηση απο τηλεφωνο, ηλεκτρονικά και στο καταστημα, δεν ειναι καθολου καλη. Δεν μπορουμε να επικοινωνησουμε αμεσα με καποιο καταστημα, πρεπει να παμε εμεις οι ιδιοι στο καταστημα, πραγμα που τον πλειστο κοσμο δε βολευει λογω εργασιας. Ειναι απαραδεκτο να μην μπορουμε να μιλησουμε εν ετη 2025 τηλεφωνικως και να πρεπει να δυσκολευεται ο κοσμος. Επισης, οσον για παραλαβες, δεν ειναι καθολου εντιμοι, πως γινεται να μην γνωριζουν ποτε θα εχουν παραλαβες;;! Εκτος αυτου, εαν καποιος ειναι σε λιστα αναμονης και ερθει η συσκευη του (ενω την εχει κανει προπαραγγελια), αν παει καποιος αλλος στο καταστημα και ζητησει τη συσκευη εκεινη την ωρα θα του τη δωσουν! Ειναι εντελως κοροϊδια.

Stamatis and nicos at the telesale department are liars,
Requested a call back from both of them, they never did .

I applied online for the fiber connection
I was pushed to get a SIM card connection along with the Fiber .

Signed the contract and been told to wait for a call from the technicians to get the Fiber installed.

I supposed to get 12 months free for both sim and fiber.
The sim card took 2 weeks to get activated.
After I signed up the documents I requested a prove of the offers, because I was sure they Will send me stupid bills to pay soon , but I have been told that I have sim connection only not fiber .
Submitted a complaint online, no reply at all

Cancelling the service with those scammers.

Good net - Trash support service

Let me start this off that the internet speeds/connection are good and i would even say that the technicians are good.

The same cannot be said for their customer support. It is terrible. Response time is atrocoius and when you complain about it you get the response of:
"We have within our guidelines approximately 48 hours to respond to a situation involving a technical issue "

Would not recommend - at least for now... maybe when and if they sort out their customer support team

They send me a message that i will have 5gbps internet in 2 months i called them many times they made countless mistakes its been 4 months now and they didn’t come yet and they’re changing the installation days every week

Scammers! Do not sign a contract

When they offered me the 24 month mobile contract, the lady was so kind and patient and promised me that the price will not go up no matter what, that for 24 months I will only pay 14.99 and no more and it is absolutely all inclusive.

Well that was not true, and now I pay close to 20 euro with added fees, and most LOCAL calls fall outside of the "unlimited calls" when I called them, they had nothing to say and when the same lady tried to call me to tell me to renew my subscription, I told her that she promised me no extra fees and no increase and both happened, she suddenly had nothing to say, said she knew nothing and that I must speak to another department (which I did) and they also made excuses why I must pay more.
