I have had such a good experience with Ellisons, specifically due to my teacher Stan. He made everything that I was dreading with driving much more approachable/achievable and he was always so positive. I could not recommend Ellisons enough to anyone who wants an enjoyable, calm and engaging time when learning to drive.

I would recommend them if u are nervous as this company makes u feel comfortable

i learnt how to drive with kate yarde and passed first time! she was always understanding and such a great instructor. i truly would not have wanted to learn with anyone else. so reliable, patient and actually made lessons fun & enjoyable!

I worked with Steve Patterson from Ellison's School of Motoring, on an automatic transmission vehicle. I passed my first exam and with zero faults! Steve prepared me for the practical exam, gave me honest feedback, and stressed the importance of safe and defensive driving. Steve was calm, discerning, and enjoyable to work with. I highly recommend.

I must thank ellisons and especially steven for teaching me how to drive, Steve was patient, understanding, informative and a great guy all around, 10/10 would recommend to those who wish to learn to drive 😊

I can't recommend Ellisons' instructors highly enough: my instructor Paul was always so accommodating and eager to help me find lesson slots that worked for me despite my erratic schedule. He is a very kind, attentive and supportive instructor who always knew the right way to help me fix my mistakes and improve my driving skills to enable me to pass!
He was always keen to tailor lessons to what I wanted to practice: even when I didn't necessarily volunteer it, Paul would intuitively pick up on what I needed to improve on and would tailor the routes we took to cover test routes whilst enabling me to practice parking and manoeuvring exercises.
Paul and Ellisons' were amazing and I'm glad I chose them for my driving lessons!

I have really enjoyed learning with Ellisons. My instructor Steve was always reliable, communicative and patient while I was learning. Ive been with other instructors who are just out to get your money but Ellisons actually helped me pass my driving test without wasting any time. Despite me instructors car breaking down on the day of my test they found me another car to drive in and helped me pass first time and a big thankyou to my instructor Sam for helping me pass.

I initially had quite a lot of difficulty finding an instructor due to flexibility problems with working patterns and locations, however Paul was able to pair me up with Steve who has been incredible and extremely accommodating for my needs and specific circumstances.

Steve has been very gentle yet thorough in his explanations and demonstrations, with a very calm demeanour that put my mind at ease, and he gave very detailed feedback on what to improve in a constructive manner.

Without the help of Paul from Ellisons I never would have been partnered with Steve, whose guidance allowed me to pass first time. A huge thank you to Steve and Paul

I had weekly 2hr lessons with Stan which were wonderful. We got along well, Stan was very informative, constructive, and friendly. Progressed from a complete driving novice to passing first time with 0 faults within 6 months. Great value for money and couldn’t be happier. 5/5 ⭐️

Paul was a fantastic teacher, he was very patient helpful and very encouraging without being condescending or overly pushy. He also actively encouraged me to make my own decisions to help me learn from any mistakes I make. I always felt safe in the car knowing he would help me when needed.we always had great chats and had fun with our lessons. I would 100% recommend Ellisons and Paul to anyone wanting to learn how to drive.

Kate was absolutely amazing! She was so patient with me throughout and her knowledge is second to none! Managed to pass with her first time with only 1 minor. Would highly recommend!

I will be recommending anyone I know that wants to drive this way! Kate taught me so much I passed my test with two minors for stalling! Couldn’t ask for a better instructor

I had the best experience learning with Woody since i first started and I cant thank him enough, hes been nothing but patient with me and has the best ways of teaching. Hes gone above and beyond even after i moved to a different town to continue giving me lessons until I passed my test and even after failing tests has always encouraged me to keep going and helped me improve what I failed on. Ive always felt at ease on my lessons with woody too and i would recommend learning with woody to anyone.
