Sandy has made my driving experience exciting and fun as well as learning so much! I would like to thank sandy for his time and his excellent teaching as I passed with 1 driving fault which I definitely couldn’t have done without him!!!

Simon was a brilliant instructor who helped me pass first time with 0 faults and was always positive even when i made mistakes, would definitely recommend

Passed my test today, i had james as my driving instructor and he was incredible. As a very nervous person i couldnt be more grateful for his patience and his ability to have made me as confident as he could have. Always praising my good work during lessons and always supporting me. Very calm and reassuring. And helps really well when u make mistakes. Id recommend james 100% to anybody!

Caroline was the best instructor I’ve ever had and put me at ease from the first lesson. Kind, caring and reassuring with her teaching, whilst maintaining the balance of making sure I understood why and how I could correct where I’d gone wrong :)
Very organised as an instructor, went out of her way to help if I couldn’t make a lesson at normal time/day. Also Ellisons as a whole, a very efficient company, from organising lessons, to payments, to using apps- to organise it all from start to finish. *THANK YOU!!* Still in shock :)

I was honestly not the biggest fan of learning how to drive initially and put it off for a few months. Then, I was recommended Andy and he was able to fit me into his schedule despite mine being equally as busy!! I am forever thankful that he has dedicated such time and effort into teaching me so carefully and kindly, as well as being so so patient and supportive. As an awfully anxious person, Andy made me realise I’m so much more capable than I think and helped me with my confidence driving, guiding me smoothly into a first time pass! His teaching is impeccable and incredibly efficient, whilst being super supportive, ensuring that you are doing everything correctly and getting the most out of your lessons. Andy is definitely the best driving teacher out there and I could not recommend him enough!! Thank you :)

Finding the right instructor for me was something that initially felt quite difficult because I didn’t really know what to expect. Jason ended up teaching me and I can say with 100% certainty that he is the best teacher I have ever had for anything in my life. As someone who struggles a lot with anxiety, I never thought I’d get to actually passing. Jason was endlessly patient with me and made driving lessons a laugh and something to look forward to. My confidence absolutely skyrocketed with Jason and things finally started to feel easy because of the way that he teaches. Ellisons in general is a fantastic driving school and I would recommend them over and over again for anyone who wants to learn to drive. But, Jason in particular I think must be one of the best teachers there is.

Highly recommend Sandy, very knowledgeable instructor who'll get you to a good position to pass your test within no time, and have a laugh as well.

I would highly recommend Wayne for automatic lessons in Weston-super-Mare. I was particularly anxious about learning to drive but Wayne helped me find my confidence and was extremely patient. Helps that he's a friendly, funny guy too.

I had booked a taste and then not got round to sorting any lessons. Ellisons found me Andy who managed to squeeze many hours of driving in with me in such a short period of time. With Andy’s help I became confident behind the wheel and ended up obtaining a perfect pass when I sat my driving test

Sandy is a top man, got me to pass first time, just in time for christmas! He truly prepared me for the worst - My tester was Jeff - who is renowned for being rude and the harshest tester in Taunton - I passed with 4 faults, and Jeff the tester told me "you passed, but you sure tried your best not to". Thank you for being funny Sandy and for teaching me to drive :)

I had lessons with Caroline and she was the perfect driving instructor, calm, caring and patient. Always made time for me and made me feel so relaxed.
I couldn’t thank her enough, if you need lessons I would recommend Caroline and Ellisons 100%.

I had the pleasure of learning to drive with Paul Hughes, and I passed my test first time! From start to finish, Paul was absolutely fantastic. He’s down to earth, no-nonsense and made each lesson enjoyable and productive. His communication was spot on, and I never once felt anxious or awkward during our sessions. I felt completely at ease, which made learning to drive so much more manageable.

I can’t recommend Paul enough, whether you're a new driver or someone with more experience. He’s a complete credit to both Ellison's and to his trade as a whole. If you want a driving instructor who is professional, supportive, and effective, Paul is definitely the one to go for!

Caroline Cox was a wonderful instructor!! A few years ago I had driving lessons but was too anxious to take my test, but Caroline made me feel comfortable and was very patient, which resulted in me gaining confidence and passing! I would 100% recommend going with her. Also Ellisons School is a very organised, and friendly group. They have their own app which has been super helpful.

Thank you so much to Simon collett for helping me get a first time pass, with only 3 minors. He’s been a brillaint, patient instructor, couldnt recommend enough!

My experience with Paul Hughes was superb, he made me feel comfortable immediately which helped with my confidence. He prompted me lightly and used humour and kindness to ease any stress caused by any mistakes I made.

I recommend him to any first time drivers as he is efficient in the way he teaches and only wants the best outcome of his learners.

I passed my test on one attempt. Thanks soo much to one of Ellisons instructor Woody. He is very professional and made everything easy to understand for me.

Simon(my instructor) was very helpful in all my lessons and guided me through all the way to a first time pass. His lessons were very useful and beneficial as a young driver.

Wayne is a Great instructor

I had a previous driving instructor and have failed my test several times and started with Andy in September and I passed my driving test today with 0 faults. I highly recommend Andy, he’s patient and thoughtful, and is a brilliant instructor who gave me so much more confidence.
