Esslinger and Avis 12

Shitty company. I am a new watch enthusiast, buying and restoring vintage watches, so I buy a lot of crystals, pins and other materials , but I return many of them because they don’t fit. It’s just faster and cheaper to buy different sizes at one’s than try them one by one, and sometimes it’s hard to determine the right size , especially if the original part is missing. All items are returned in the same condition (Esslinger doesn’t accept used), I pay return shipping, however, they just told me they will no longer accept returns due to excessive returns. Their returns policy doesn’t say that the number of returns is limited, so they just made it up. I will not buy from this company again, there are many other sellers.

Ordered universal watch back removal tool for $19.99. It is merely junk and doesn't work. The same item is sold on TEMU for $4.99.

spent $109 on a film to protect my Rolex. Did not receive the entire part. Try reaching out to them without a reply. Total crook of a company.

What a joke! No advertised phone number but if you find one like I did from bbb, they don’t answer it. So, for all intents and purposes they have no customer service. I tried to place an order but after my bank approved it there system declined it twice. I pretty much know what’s wrong with there system but since they are to lazy to answer there phone, I’ll keep the info to myself. Everything they sell can be found elsewhere. I suggest to everyone to do just that, look and shop elsewhere.

I have purchased many times from Esslinger & Co. From Jewelers / Watchmaker tools to pocket watch crystals. Every time all the items were packaged securely and mailed in a timely manner.

Delivery of items was not great nor was it bad. However, they sent me a defective movement and responded by asking how I deemed it defective then ignored my response from there. Spend your money somewhere else with reasonable customer service.

I bought a set of Bergeon mainspring winders from them. They sent the wrong winders. At first the customer service was good. They supposedly sent replacements that never came. When I contacted them about this, they basically said "too bad" and then ignored my attempts to contact them again. Worst customer service experience in a long time.

I think I've written one review ever, so I am not one to complain. I recently bought ring remover spray and paid over $50.00 to have it shipped overnight. First of all, it took two days to receive the spray. Then, it didn't work. I even tried using the whole bottle and my ring didn't even budge. So, I contacted customer service and the person who responded to me, Brandon, was very rude and unprofessional. He told me to go to the ER to have the ring removed if it's an emergency, which it is not. Also, he did not offer any type of compensation for a product purchased that did not work.

They delivered super fast to me, their items are at good prices such as their spring bars and the general website is easy to navigate and well designed.

They sell fake tools for very high prices. I ordered Horofix tweezer, and what they sent is a generic cheap imitation and I paid $90.00 for it. They are dishonest, and do not respond to any inquiry or complaints!
Stay away from this site and keep your money in your pocket!

I wanted to order a bunch of watch tools, and unfortunately as I live in Australia everywhere I found had quite expensive shipping. I ended up ordering from Esslinger, as they were one of the companies with everything I needed, despite the shipping costing me US$20. When the order arrived one of the items (worth $15) was missing. I informed Esslinger customer service and they said they'd refund the item. I responded saying I'd much prefer a replacement as I don't want to spent $20 on shipping to reorder a $15 item. No response. Emailed them again expressing my disappointment with the situation. No response. What a joke. I'd strongly recommend getting watch tools elsewhere.
