Horrible management team.

Worst STR management company ever. They send people to your home to do repairs without notice and then bill you for repairs that were never done. They hire cleaners that do not clean properly. They never answer the phone when you call. They always make you wait a day or two to answer a simple question via email and always use the line that they need to check with the team to get and answer. Even the emergency number puts you on hold before they answer and then after waiting on hold it takes for ever to get a clear truthful answer. They will give you the run around. Worst mistake I ever made to hire them as my STR team.

Owners Beware!

If you’re a property owner considering ESTAGA, think twice. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare.

They advertise a 17% management fee, but with hidden charges (resort fees, pet fees, cleaning fees, etc.) you’ll end up paying well over 20%—and you’ll never see any of that extra income. Their cleaning crews are unprofessional and often leave the house half-clean, hurting your guest ratings.

Ximena Avila, our main contact, was rude and dismissive whenever we asked for receipts or proof of expenditures. Ayrton Calderon, their so-called “Owner Relations Specialist,” proved himself untrustworthy. After we agreed to part ways with a 60-day notice, he cancelled 6 guest reservations—totaling 20 days—without our consent, while we still had over a month left on our contract. Worse, they refused to share guest info so we could rebook them ourselves. It felt like deliberate sabotage.

When we questioned these shady actions, they hung up and stopped communicating.

This company will put its own profits ahead of your property, your guests, and your business. They are not transparent, not professional, and not to be trusted. Let this be a warning: Avoid ESTAGA at a cost!
Sorry, but how can you say the items were normal wear and tear.
The house was built in October of 2024 and everything in it was purchased new in February of 2025. No one had slept in that house until the first guest that you booked for us in mid-February. As usual you are lying again. You manage to delete all of the 1-star reviews including mine on other sites. But don't worry I will keep spreading the word about your scam.

I’m sorry our collaboration ended on such a sour note. In twelve years of managing hundreds of vacation rentals, this is the first one-star review we’ve received, so for anyone reading I’d like to share the full picture.

The launch went exceptionally well. In the first weeks your home was live we booked 45 future nights, earned five consecutive 5-star guest reviews, and revenues were trending about 35 percent higher than the forecast we provided. Everything was on track until we were asked to treat pre-existing wear-and-tear items as a damage claim. Because our $3,000 protection covers genuine guest damage—not routine maintenance—we declined. Only after that decision did concerns about “hidden” fees surface.

For clarity: you joined at a flat 17 percent management fee, and that is exactly what was charged. Cleaning fees are paid by guests and passed straight through to the housekeeping team and supplies. Any pet or resort fees we collected were remitted to you, less the same 17 percent commission—nothing extra was ever deducted. When questions arose, we prepared a penny-by-penny statement just for you, in addition to our already detailed monthly reports, so every dollar could be traced.

You then asked to leave before the contract’s 60-day notice period. We negotiated a 30-day exit and worked with the booking platforms to cancel overlapping stays so you wouldn’t face host penalties. When that agreement was reversed and phone calls escalated into personal insults toward our staff, we terminated the contract immediately.

We stand by the transparency, results, and respect we bring to every home we manage.

I've been using their services for my two properties for over six months. They handle guest communication very well, and the feedback from guests has been positive. There was a minor issue with cleaning once, but it was addressed quickly.

Strongly recommended!

I stumbled upon Estaga in an attempt to quickly find another Airbnb property management as a previous one was bad. Im very happy that i was able to find them. Finally, my property started to generate income. I am delighted with my experience here, I can definitely recommend them.
