I had a fantastic experience traveling through mainland Greece and the Greek Islands with Educational Travel Adventures. Carrie and the ETA team did an outstanding job planning and coordinating every aspect of the trip.

The hotels were excellent, with comfortable accommodations and great breakfasts. Our itinerary was thoughtfully designed, combining fascinating historical sites, beautiful destinations, and memorable experiences. ETA also selected exceptional local guides who brought each location to life with their knowledge, insights, and stories.

Just as impressive was how smoothly everything ran. Transportation was safe and comfortable, schedules were well coordinated, and Carrie made sure everyone was taken care of. Even when unexpected issues arose, including a misplaced passport, she handled them calmly and effectively.

The entire experience was fun, educational, and remarkably well organized. I would absolutely trust Carrie and ETA to plan another trip and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a memorable travel experience.

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I feel compelled to recognize the outstanding service I consistently receive from ETA, and especially from my agent, Liana Suleymanov.

It may sound cliché to say they "go above and beyond," but in this case it is absolutely true. Organizing school trips means constantly balancing the expectations of students, parents, school administrators, and district regulations. I'll be honest, I'm not always the easiest client to work with because there are so many moving pieces, and I often need very specific changes made to itineraries, hotels, flights, meal arrangements, and schedules.

No matter how many requests I have, Liana always approaches them with professionalism, patience, and a genuine desire to help. If something can be done, she finds a way to make it happen. I never feel like my concerns are an inconvenience, and that level of customer service is incredibly rare today.

For our upcoming Boston trip alone, we needed to make multiple adjustments, including changing the hotel, modifying the breakfast arrangements, revising parts of the itinerary, and addressing several other details. Not only did ETA make everything work seamlessly, but they managed to keep the trip affordable. In fact, the price actually went down.

I am also extremely grateful for their flexibility when it comes to payments. School trips often operate on collection schedules that don't always fit traditional payment timelines, and ETA has consistently worked with us to make things manageable.

Another aspect of ETA's service that deserves recognition is the tour guides they provide. We always request Michael Holzer, and he has become an invaluable part of our trips. Michael takes so much of the day-to-day management stress off of our shoulders, allowing us to focus on our students and the educational experience rather than the logistics.

He is incredibly detail-oriented and handles unexpected changes with a level of calmness and professionalism that is reassuring to everyone involved. One example that our group will never forget occurred during a trip to New York. While we were attending another event, a student realized they had lost their phone. Michael went all the way across Manhattan to retrieve it for us. This was not something he was required to do, but he did it anyway because he genuinely cares about the success of the trip and the well-being of our students.

Throughout our travels, we never have to worry about the hour-by-hour details because Michael is always thinking several steps ahead. He is fantastic with students, and year after year they rave about him long after the trip is over.

Planning educational travel can be stressful, but working with Liana, Michael, and the entire ETA team gives me confidence that everything will come together successfully. Their commitment to customer service, attention to detail, flexibility, and willingness to accommodate even the most specific requests make them an invaluable partner for our school. I have worked with Educational Travel Adventures (ETA) to plan our annual 8th grade Washington, DC trip since 2014, and I absolutely cannot imagine working with any other student travel company. Their entire staff, from the sales team to logistics to the customer service reps who help my students' parents with registration questions, is top notch.

The company's new and improved online system and website have made the entire process, initial registrations to monthly payments, seamless. As the school's trip organizer, this new system has made my work SO MUCH EASIER, as they now utilize texts, emails AND phone calls to communicate with families about upcoming payment reminders and other communication needs.

ETAs tour guides are highly knowledgeable and offer the perfect balance of offering my students educational information while also having fun with them. My kids are always sad to leave our guides at the end of our trips due to the "family" the guides help create with the groups on each tour bus.

We have worked with ETA for many, many years traveling to the east coast with our 7th and 8th graders. The company is super attentive to our specific needs and wants. Michael and the staff is also wonderful and are easily available during the planning process and during the actual trip. I can't say enough about how happy we are with ETA, their staff, even their tour guides and bus company/drivers. We have used other tour companies in the past and have other tour companies reach out to us, but we will always stay with ETA.

I have had the pleasure of traveling with ETA with student groups and with adult groups. Every trip has been outstanding. I work with Emily Sweeney and her team and every detail is planned to perfection. All of our trips have been to Europe but I'm hoping South America is in the near future. Accommodations are top notch and in very accessible areas of the cities. I've heard too many horror stories about other companies and the hotels they choose to even give them a try. I have experienced a travel glitch or two (due to weather or mechanical issues) but they are right there on the other end of the line, helping to calm my fears and figure out other options. Whether you are planning a trip with students or with adults, you can't go wrong working with ETA. p.s. The payment plans are a great plus as well.

Michelle Gordon with Educational Travel Adventures did an amazing job of curating a perfect DC itinerary specific to our 8th grade class. She was always available to answer all of my questions throughout the entire planning process. She had so many helpful tips to make everything run smoothly so I always knew we were in good hands with this seasoned travel agent.

Ok, take a minute…imagine the most amazing school trip that you’ve ever had. Oh, wait…you haven’t had an amazing one before? Use Educational Travel Adventures (ETA) and you will. Last November, I contacted ETA along with three other educational travel companies to assist with planning our school’s annual 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. Of the four travel establishments, ETA is the only one that employs Max, tour coordinator extraordinaire. Max took all of the info: price point, number of travelers, sites that we were interested in visiting, etc., and arranged an itinerary that we as a school felt comfortable with and one that our students were excited about participating in. Parents were supportive of the price point and working with Max was communicative, accommodating, and prompt during each interaction, which put our school at ease.

After we returned from our amazing DC trip, our student participants continuously commented on what a great experience they had, largely due to our tour manager Rachel. She shared her knowledge of DC in a way that not only captivated our students, but also resonated with them after our trip. Our 8th grade trip will long be remembered for being both informational and interesting.

AS a band director, I appreciate the organized infrastructure that ETA has to offer for families to sign up and pay for trips independently from my own band organization, meaning I'm not handling funds myself.
