Ethical Bedding Avis 360

Another company that overpromises and underdelivers with its clever marketing. “Eucalyptus Silk” is just a fancy name for Lyocell which is a synthetic material. The texture is not even silky at all, especially after washing. The material is also extremely hot. I wake up sweating in the night now and it’s only April. I bought it because I thought it would help make me cooler and now I am dreading the summer. My husband says this bedding is a downgrade from our previous linen set from Crate & Barrel and I have to agree. Worst of all they do not offer returns on used bedding so now I am stuck with it. Stick with companies that offer a “100 Night Guarantee” or similar in case you don’t like it. I regret spending so much money on this company.

I've spent a small fortune on a duvet & flat/fitted sheets that I've discovered I'm allergic to. Emailed ethical bedding to be told they are all made up the same in exactly the same way process wise. This is not plausible as sheets are shiny n silky and a rose colour duvet is soft brushed material in silver so if nothing else the dye process will be different. I've been told they don't refund on used products. How your supposed to know if bed linen works for you without trying it I don't know? I have discovered that my nightly over heating is not down to menopause, mattress protectors duvet etc etc but all my ethical bedding as my sheets which I've had for years bamboo from Between The Sheets are fine and the new Bamboo CosyHouse Superking cover is ace n no over heating whatsoever. I also have 2 eucalyptus single covers for weighted blankets from Bambaw i have no issues with! I suspect something in the ethical manufacturing of their eucalyptus make up probably nylon as the prickly heat sensation is exactly what happens to my skin with nylon is the issue. Being disabled and on benefits these were exceptionally costly for me to buy. However, when you suffer with issues due to your skin sensitivities you try what you can to alleviate it as much as possible. So I now have almost 400 quids worth of Bedlinen that's sitting in my blanket box utterly useless to me as they won't refund. Strange as the mattress topper I purchased from PandaLondon is being refunded no questions asked it doesn't suit so its going back no quibble. I won't be using Ethical again

I am in love with the luxury of the products I don’t want to get out of bed ! Very high quality and super soft - I ordered king size fitted sheet , duvet and pillowcases and I am so happy . Recommend it without a doubt !

I ordered a set of pillow cases first as two things drew me to this company above all else, their ethical and sustainable product and the affordable silk fabric texture. The fabric works great at reducing the friction on the body/night clothes making it easier to turn in bed and for me, less rub on my hair being challenged by chemo. From the initial pillow cases I now have the full set and it's an absolute delight to snuggle into and so easy to ease my restless sleeps. My husband and I have always used single beds together as a superking (no fighting over quilts), so it would be great if the pretty colours that are made in doubles and above can also be available in singles.

I purchased a duvet cover, fitted sheet and pillow case in Rose. It arrived quickly and in a beautiful cover made in the same fabric. The colour has a slight peachy hue which fits in well with my decor. I delayed my review as I wanted to see how it washed and dried. It came out beautifully and the silky smooth texture feels very luxurious. It also helps me with temperature regulation in a way pure cotton did not. I highly recommend these products. Thank you!

I ordered bedding in the wheat colour and also in white. I like the white in the silky fabric but I don't like the wheat colour I think it would be better in a more rustic texture and would like to return or exchange it. I contacted the company to request an exchange through the returns portal to receive an email to say my request is "being considered". However 2 weeks later and I have still heard nothing. It is impossible to speak to anyone as there are no phone contact details and they have not responded to any of the emails I have sent subsequently. I have not received the returns label and I am not prepared to post the bedding back at my own expense if I am then not refunded.

The pillows arrived beautifully packed and very, very quickly. They feel fantastic and we are looking forward to using them once our new mattress has arrived tomorrow. Impressed so far.

The eucalyptus cover is very silky but the bamboo fill is lumpy and takes forever to dry after washing. Not the quality I was expecting.

And then I got the reply from Ethical Bedding, insinuating that I did not wash it properly! It was a mattress protector, not a duvet or pillow, and I followed the washing instructions precisely.

I was using silk sheets for my allergies but looking for something alternative that is a bit more durable and less expensive. These sheets meet my expectations. It’s really soft and has a slight sheen. I ordered single sheets set for my son as well. I will definitely order more!

Have had problems with the quality of my pillowcases so returned at my own cost. No email to say I will get a refund and no response from two of my emails. No refund has arrived yet. They seem to be uncontactable.

So I have been following these guys for a while since seeing them on Dragons Den I believe, anyway I have started my journey with a super king bottom sheet, I am going to be ordering up a full set for sure, it’s just out of this world, can’t wait to get in tonight, also put in my bed straight from the fabulous bag
