Disappointing experience
Update 2: I have been using the pillows for just over 2 months now & I am sorry to say they are not worth the money they have gone pretty flat & patchy. Wouldn't waste my money on them if I were you!
Update:
EB finally admitted that the topper was wrong & duvet cover had been sent in the wrong colour. I am happy to say the replacements arrived today. They have confirmed they are sure the duvet was sent to the right spec however I am unsure how they can know that & I can't be bothered trying to communicate with them anymore.
The most disappointing thing is that the quality of the product is very good & I would love to order more from them however the length of time it took to get a resolution coupled with the response from the owner (below is a quote just in case he deletes it) means I wont. I have also uploaded to YouTube my chat with EB "Chat with Ethical Bedding" should anyone wish to see the communication & understand that although EB are trying to blame me for this they were the ones who were ignoring:

- The email address originally auto-filled wrong from my laptop, order placed 30th I contacted 4th to update the email address, confirmation of the email being updated by EB has been provided
- I am unsure how "lack of traceability via order number" is my issue I have only ever been provided one order number which I provided. This one really does sound like a EB issues & not a customer issue
- "variance of channels and methods used" I have only contacted via FB messenger which is the channel on your website for customer support. I have provided EB with a screenshot video which shows all of my communication in the one message up until the 14th October when someone finally replied & asked me to email. I did that, now emails from 18th & 19th have been ignored again. Something I have just provided a screenshot of via messenger which you guys have read & ignored.
- the information about the order being wrong was first provided to you on 5th October having received my order on 5th October so this is just not true unfortunately, I have provided screenshots to prove this.
As far as I can see this all stems from the email address being wrong & your team not updating the information correctly. I have provided your team with order number both in the chat & via email, I have provided your team with the issues both on chat & over email. Maybe when customers contact via chat with an order issue the first thing you should do is ask them to email you instead of starting the chat & ignoring them.
I am glad to hear you wont lose any sleep over this James & that you feel a £680 order being wrong & a customer trying over & over again to get a pleasant outcome is the way you want to run your business. The only time I have received a prompt reply from your company is when I have posted on Trustpilot (funny that). The last review I deleted straight away as it looked like I was getting some resolution but then I got ignored again, so here we are.
Please ask your team to look at the screenshot video that was sent via messenger on 17th October with all the communication up until I was asked to email.
Original Complaint:
I just moved back into an apartment I own that has been rented for some time. I thought it would be a nice treat to buy some lovely new bedding, mattress protector, mattress topper, duvet, pillows and sheets. I was so excited about getting products from Ethical Bedding & its just been an awful experience.
First on Sunday 30th September I had to contact them as the discounts promised were not been allocated correctly. Within 2 hours on a Sunday I had confirmation from Customer Services that there must be an issue with the codes & if I place the order they will refund the difference.
The delivery arrived 5th October, topper and protector seem to be the same item, the duvet cover was delivered in the wrong colour & I have my suspicions that I have received the lighter weight duvet & not the heavier one, as this arrived in a clear plastic bag & not in the zipper bags with handles like the pillows.
Anyway I have been trying to get a resolution with them on this since 5th October. After a previous 1 star review on Trustpilot about this I very quickly got a message from them saying they will get things sorted, that was on the 14th. Since then Jessie has emailed however my last email on 19th has been completely ignored again. They have this line that I have been contacting them on "multiple communication channels" which is just wrong I have only contacted them through FB Messenger until the 14th when they asked me to email them, only to be ignored again.

Nice and soft
I bought the pillow cases. They are nice and soft, but not as soft as silk, like advertised, hence the 4 stars. Nice company and ethics, would definitely buy again.

Well made Oxford pillow cases
Excellent service and well packaged pillow cases. They feel so smooth and silky. The bag they came in is now used to store clothes pegs. A pity they are yet another product made in China and not the UK which is why I didn't give 5 stars.

Soft, warm, looks great
Not much more to say really!
I have received two orders so far, a duvet and sheet set and both are top quality, warm. Both were delivered without issues and very quickly. The quality of the bedding is very high, even a fussy partner is impressed

I'm a bit obsessive about bedding...
I'm a bit obsessive about bedding and always buy the best bedding I can afford. But based on the ethical principles of this company plus the reviews I gave it a go and bought a full set.
It arrived within a day. No plastic packaging. Amazing silky cool bed linen. Gorgeous colour. I'm never buying bedding anywhere else again

Lovely quality
Lovely quality and the pillow cases were a good size for my larger than the norm pillows. I thought they might feel a bit slippy when I unpacked them but they’re lovely to rest my head on. I am going to buy some sheets now.

£10 charge for returns
There’s a £10 charge to return anything PLUS £10 courier cost if you want to use their service. On top of this I did not receive my refund and had to chase it.

So comfy
Extremely comfortable bedding. Super soft without being slippery like silk tends to be. Great company as well!
A tip if you are like me and ordering from the US or another country, bed sizes differ. So make sure to measure and choose your size accordingly!
