I was skeptical to have any type of weight loss procedure done however I'm glad I found this as an alternative. The 6 week post-op was a challenge for me but the staff checked in during recovery. Hello, My name is Oscar J. Andreu I'm a 47 year old man, husband, father to 3 beautiful children and a proud veteran of the US Army. I've struggled with my weight for many years including when I was enlisted to service and with that being said I have tried many diets with no positive results, exercise did show results but in my case I pretty much had to live in a gym just to maintain my weight at a healthy level. I want to share my experience with the BARIENDO team. When I decided to have the GASTRIC BALLOON procedure in NOVEMBER 2023, I weighed 182 pounds. I decided to have this procedure because I tried different types of diets and nothing worked for me. I did not feel well, I did not sleep well and my health, in general, was not optimal. After 6 months the balloon was removed and I lost 55 pounds, currently my weight is 127 pounds. -
The attention and communication with the BARIENDO team was incredible, they always followed up on my process and gave me very useful advice to the point that a month after the balloon was removed I have continued to lose weight.

For the past 17 years, I've been consumed by my love for food and the relentless desire to shed weight. It's been a rollercoaster journey trying every diet known to man. I eventually turned to the Orbera balloon, which helped me lose 60 pounds, only to regain a staggering 100. My everyday life felt as if I was taking one step forward, only to take 4 back. Finally, at 244 pounds, I hit rock bottom and knew I needed help. I finally realized that "willpower" when it came to food, was just not in the cards for me. That's when I found out about Bariendo and it changed my life forever.
My biggest regret is not taking this step a decade earlier. I wasted my prime years, hiding away in my 20s, avoiding social outings until I hit my elusive goal weight, which never happened.
