I like that this training program starts from ground zero and explains the concepts with plenty of help and practice workbooks. Perfect for accounting and finance professionals that want to know more. He is great at quickly explaining it, but in a basic enough way to allow people to keep up.

Great format and instru tion

The Excel Univ Volume 1 program is Excellent! Looking forward to completing Volume 2 next. I have used Excel for years and really missed out on how beneficial the tools I didn't use much can be. Jeff Lenning's teaching style is one of the most effective I have encountered. His verbal guidance, speaking tone, pace and demonstration methods really help to lock in the concepts.

I think this is the best Excel class I have ever had.
He taught real world examples and how to use the tools and capabilities at a level I could follow and track.
Jeff was fantastic! Loved this class.

The class is awesome.
Issues I have are the differences in the versions of Excel and Power BI, especially the version of Power BI I have the visualizations formatting tools are very different.

Great course! The course instruction is helpful and practical. The videos are well done and the exercises are practical and provide the repetition needed to learn the concepts. The course is structured to help students become more efficient in their work. It accomplishes that goal.

I've been using Excel for over 15 years. I signed up to get "easy" CPE and pick up a nugget of information or two. I've been surprised by how many nuggets of usable information I have picked up. I perform project work, and as such do not do the standard accounting/repetitive processes and reports as much as most. I have improved my speed, but I'm I bill by the hour, so.... hmmmm. :)

A lot of good information but seems some is dated....or I'm doing something wrong.............I find some of the functions Jeff talks about do not work on my version of Excel - I think Excel 365. I don't know how to find the version.

Additionally I HATE having to go find the different parts of a lesson. The video is in one place, the Excel file another place and and the pdf another place.

All the files for a certain lesson should be in the same place - video, Excel file, pdf.

For example - I am watching the Ch 7 Improve VLOOKUP with VALUE and TEXT (7:10) - he talks about opening the Value Text.xlsx Excel file.....where is it?! I can't find it!

If it was right with the video - BOOM! I find it! And the Crowd Goes Wild!

Loved the homework spreadsheets. That you included prior lesson skills in with current.

I learned a lot more about excel and the features it has. My only complaint is that it needs to be updated for the more recent version of excel. I have excel 365 and some of the instructions for the pivot tables were out of date.

I love Jeff!! He makes me laugh. I really appreciate his sense of humor.
Also it shows that he works with excel and he is passionate

The dates on some of the worksheets don't match the dates the instructor uses, so the resulting equations don't always return the same results. Copilot can fix that quickly, but still. Also, at least in our company, VLOOKUP is kind of thought of as outdated and most colleagues prefer XLOOKUP, however the XLOOKUP video was just thrown in as an afterthought, instead of incorporating it into the course.
