Purchased New dishwasher, received damaged one, company acknowledges damage but won’t refund

Purchased a new dishwasher on Feb 24/26. After countless calls Sumaya said it come in but had a dent in the upper left corner. Upon seeing the picture we declined, we wanted new. Stringing us along, we waited again a week and a half, called for refund to which we were told one was coming Thursday, and would be delivered March 16. One was delivered, after the installers left, we removed the kitchenaid sticker and other sticker to find it was the exact dented dishwasher that we previously rejected. We phoned the company 16 times, spoke to three individuals, all of whom requested our information, the pictures etc with promise of getting back to us. We asked for an owner or manager, apparently, they were in A meeting for over 3 hrs. I finally got a response when I texted I was escalating this to my bank for fraud, and BBB. Sumaya told us in one call that it was a mistake, two identical dishwashers were on the truck, they installed the wrong one, and we will get it corrected, next, it was our dishwasher and it was perfect, no damage when it left, so obviously the installers damaged it on the way here coincidentally in the same spot, same dent, and she denied concealing the dent with a sticker, she proceeded to tell us we can keep said new dishwasher and we’d get 2 years warranty and a new door….not what we asked for, and if the installers damaged the door, obviously the dishwasher was mishandled and what if the internal parts were damaged. We asked for it to be removed and a refund. Our story has been verified by their customer service department, but we still cannot get a refund, because a manager needs to approve it. And yet again, we need to wait until tomorrow again. This is obviously a tactic that is going to go on and on. Also, I asked on three separate occasions over the last few weeks if this was scratch and dent, and I was assured they were new. I trusted they were honest, but looking at previous complaints, and speaking with my bank for fraud, I was enlightened that this is not the first case of fraud. Do not purchase anything from this company. They are liars and scamners who will string you along

broken part- do not b huy from these guys!

I ordered a washer motor from Express Appliances to replace the old motor on my Maytag washer. The motor arrived completely seized up. Express Appliances would not give a refund or replace the broken part, Total scammers

Sold my elderly mum a phantom washer.

On November 6th, my elderly mother ordered a washing machine with a warranty online from expressappliances.ca. They claimed it would be delivered in two weeks.

It did not arrive, and no explanation was given for the delay.

After almost three weeks (Nov 26th), my mum phoned in and spoke with “Sumaya,” who indicated that expressappliances.ca did not have the machine; she asked my mum if she was interested in another washer. My mum declined.

Later that day my mum emailed customer service, and asked that the order be cancelled and the deposit refunded since the machine had not been delivered, and expressappliances did not have it.

The next day (November 27th) someone named “Victoria” emailed my mum to say they were “checking the issue” and would call her back. They never did.

On December 4th My mum emailed Expressappliances.ca again asking to cancel the order – no answer.

Today, December 11th, my mum phoned their customer service line, but got a call back from their sales department. My mum told this person, who also identified herself as Sumaya, that she wanted to cancel her order. In response, "Sumaya" claimed the machine "just came in today," and repeatedly asked my Mum when she would take delivery.

My mum explained that she had been trying to cancel the order for weeks now, and asked for a refund. "Sumaya" said expressappliances.ca would not refund the money because it was a "special order." My mum asked if she could see the washer, but was told it was in "another warehouse."

Expressappliances.ca's return policy states that customers can cancel an order before it has been shipped. When my mum first attempted to cancel the order it was already one week overdue, and expressappliances.ca gave no indication that they either had the washer or that it had been shipped from their supplier. Instead of following their own policy and refunding the money, Expressappliances.ca gave my mum the run-around for another two weeks before finally refusing a refund.

I’m not convinced that they even have machine now, but it doesn’t matter. A reputable business would have apologized for their poor service and inability to fulfill the order; a reputable business would have issued a refund.

COCKROACHES

I purchased an oven from this vendor on October 11th. Before I made payment I asked the CSR if the oven was clean - she assured me that they clean all ovens - inside and out. They do not. The oven that was delivered to me has a breeding ground for cockroaches. We saw the first roach a week ago and then another one and another one. We realized that they were coming from the oven. When we pulled it out and toook the back off - we were horrified.It was flithly and there was so much cockroah larva. We removed the stove from the house asap. The very next day - I called Express and told them what happened - after going around in circles and of course they had the audacity to ask "how do we know if was from our oven" (I have pictures and videos) - they finally gave me a partial refund.

Fraudulent horrific company !

Fraudulent horrific company !
They will pick up your call when you first called because they want your money and they are attentive and more than happy to make an appointment. The technician will show up and gladly take his $300 service charge and repair what is required. once they leave good luck getting a hold of them or any further service. They took close to $500 with the promise that if my fridge did not work, they would come back and replace one or two other parts when I called back, they would put me on hold they were rude. The girl would mention she was all alone working there. I called using my bosses phone and they picked up right away and then they proceeded to call my boss back five times.
but I two weeks later I’m still waiting for them to call me back with a part and a repair date naturally if I had waited this long, all of my food would’ve perished I had to actually go buy a new fridge because I wasn’t able to get them to come to fix it! In addition, I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau do not contact this company- for help or giving anything

Stay Away

Stay away from these clowns...bought a fridge last month...stopped working and lost $400 in food...they won't help with any of the loss...asked if we would like a tech to visit...lol...bought new...live and learn...these guys won't be there when you need them..
