FAA needs to shut down these morons. Word to the wise if you were sucked in by their bait and switch airfare scam ignore all communications and dispute any charges that they managed to put on your card UNLESS you received your ticket(s) from the actual airline but I would bet 100% of the time no tickets come at the "confirmed" price. Also closely monitor your CC for micro or similar phantom charges and dispute those too or else cancel your card. Be safe out there folks

I just had an extremely disappointing experience with FareBuddies while trying to book a flight. I felt compelled to share my experience with others to prevent them from going through the same ordeal.

Firstly, when I called to follow up on an infant bassinet for my flight, I was met with the utmost rudeness from the so-called "travel agent." Instead of providing assistance, she shamefully berated me for booking a flight on short notice, which was entirely uncalled for.

To make matters worse, the agent claimed that the airline had a 104-person waitlist and insisted that I had purchased a standby ticket. This information was completely false, and it left me feeling deceived and frustrated.

What shocked me the most was the abysmal customer support I received. The agent not only provided inaccurate information but also had the audacity to hang up on me when I questioned her about the situation. This type of behavior is simply unacceptable and reflects poorly on FareBuddies as a whole.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise against using FareBuddies for any travel bookings. Their poor customer support, coupled with misleading and rude behavior, demonstrates a lack of professionalism and integrity. There are plenty of other reputable travel agencies out there that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide reliable assistance. Spare yourself the frustration and book directly!

Adrian I had to find the best flights for my Adrian was extremely kind, patient and understanding in helping me to get my flight plans.

Complete scam they charge me an extra $300 for nothing. They charge my credit card 2xs. They told me that I was speaking to jet blue. Complete lie. Don’t trust them.

I unfortunately called this number thinking I was calling Hawaiian Air. Asked me to pay $300 extra to confirm my son’s flight. Since my son had an international connecting flight and couldn’t miss this flight I paid them. Hawaiian never received nor required the 300. Absolute Scam!!!

They were terrible. Heavily accented and difficult to understand. Gave incorrect information and tried to make us pay a price hike. I had to get loud and rude and nasty as they were just stupid! DO NOT USE.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Super rude and was hung up on.

do not use they scammed my wife. they won't give your money back and sell canceled flights. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. WIFE IS GETTING REPRESENTATION... TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION!!!!!

They will charge you about $125 per person extra with a nonsense explanation. I bought 5 tickets and they made two transactions, $1,060 from the airline then a second transaction for $669.00 from their agency. I know they have to make business but come on what a horrible scam.

Scammers!!!! Do NOT deal with this company. You book a flight through their website and then before you know it you're bombarded with texts and phone calls telling you to call them to confirm your booking and there is issues, etc...More importantly tell all of your friends and family to stay away from these scammers

They will only sell you tickets if you upgrade, which will end up in a higher cost. Very fishy tactic. Sad for people who are not aware

The company is a scam. They show much lower price that's no longer available. The system works this way:
You book unavailable flight, in the next few days (!) they reach out to tell you that the discounted fare does not include anything but a personal item, that the fare is not refundable and that you cannot even buy a checked bag in the airpot. It's a clear lie and a scam. If you still agree to this, they tell you the fare is no longer available. Very simple. This way or another they'll take advantage of the gullible people.

I booked the flight on their website, entered all payment information and then received an e-mail to call. the customer service (with very strong accent) told me that they can only confirm 2 passengers and I booked it for 3. Within less than 5 hours of the booking they wanted to charge me a service fee and did not refund 100% of my payment. My wife had a similar experience while back, should have listened to her. Lesson learned. These people are scammers, pay extra $$ but don't book with these people. I gave it one star since that is the lowest.

I booked a ticket to fly from laguardia airport to Charleston SC for 119.00. Farebuddies wanted to charge me 88.00 for 1 checked bag and no carry-on.l canceled the flight and they wouldn't let me rebook at a lower fare. I never got refunded or credited

ZERO stars! I got scammed! This is not a legitimate group!! Guy with an Indian accent named "Mark Jensen". I never got a confirmation email, just an email saying that my booking is on hold and that they are trying to call me. I told them I wanted I didn't feel comfortable with this transaction and wanted it all cancelled and they said they wouldn't. They sent me another email saying I need to authorize the booking. So I called my credit card company and they said a transaction was attempted but got denied, so I cancelled my credit card. "Fare Buddies" website shows their Trust Pilot rating as five stars! But here it is 2 stars! SUCH A SCAM!! How do you report websites like this!?!?

Complete scam. They call you after you book and try to tell you that the ticket was special deal only if no carry on or check-in bags. Then offer to help you find a flight with the option to check a bag or carry on. Then try to upcharge. They say the ticket is nonrefundable. I personally never got a ticket. They should be shut down.
