Fastly Avis 

Fastly is a scam. They won't stop charging two of our credit cards after repeatedly asking them to stop. They say we have an outstanding invoice that they won't send a copy of and when we log in there is no way to see or a access an outstanding invoice. We are working with our credit card company on chargebacks and will file complaints everywhere.

No self-serving account cancellation. I've now been charged for 4 months of service since disconnecting their service, despite requesting that my account be closed numerous times directly to their customer support staff.

Will never use the product again.

Here is my genuine review of Fastly.
I've been using Cloudflare for a few years for my company services. In June 2025 I decided to try out alternatives and I started with Fastly. From the beginning the whole process of signing up, verification, and payments were quite different to any other online service I knew. Everything was complex and there was no online support. Response time for tickets was minimum 1 day. Finally unfortunately I got fooled added my company credit card in the billing section and of course like any other legal scam, you cannot remove your credit card unless you file a support ticket and good luck with that.
Since I didn't get any answer from their customer support, I contacted sales and boom! They contacted me back right away. They set up a video call with a bunch of regional and US-based sales staff of course to try to scam me. In the meeting they assured me they will not charge my credit card until I do all my tests. One of them even shared his screen and claimed that he marked my account as free usage so that I feel comfortable trying out their services. Fast forward, on August 28, I saw two transactions on my credit card. A $50 transaction for the month of June and $120 for July!!!
I'm now closing my Fastly account. But I will not let them get away with this scam.

Completely useless support.
Paid account suddenly stoped working and all support does is just close my support tickets with out any information provided. And there was no notifications done.
Thats not a services.

Totally untrustworthy

Hosts content for spammers and ignores abuse reports. One or more servers in their IP address range already blacklisted thanks to the open source spam community. System administrators should continue to block and quarantine the following internet addresses for safety:

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Fastly. My experience with Fastly has been nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional. I reached out with a clear and specific request regarding Layer 3/4 DDoS mitigation, not website protection. Days later, I received a completely irrelevant response about Layer 7 website protection, which made no sense considering my original question. Only after that, I was told to contact a different email address entirely, which never responded at all. When replies do come, they take about a week, which is unacceptable for any serious infrastructure provider. It’s clear their team either doesn't understand the difference between network-layer and application-layer protection or doesn't bother to read inquiries properly. Fastly might be a big name, but if you’re looking for actual infrastructure-level DDoS protection, knowledgeable support, and timely communication, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. They’ve wasted enough of my time already.

another company that lets itself be used as a hoster for criminal purposes. any requests are blocked or not answered...or they play for time...to keep the reported phising websites online as long as possible!

and then you are even blocked in the live chat by the supporter if you want to report these phising websites there!

The Fastly service is absolutely amazing, my site has had a very noticeable decrease in page load time. FAR more than any caching plugin (WordPress) has ever provided.

What really stands out about Fastly the most to me is the level of support they provide. At one point we had weekly conference calls and several engineers spent a LOT of time getting my site to work. All for a $50/mo service (my current tier).

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fastly as a CDN. I did a ton of research and I'm absolutely convinced I picked the best one.

Honestly, there is no service better than this team.

I'm really glad about their support, never wrote such review for a company but I think Fastly team goes above and beyond their expectations.
Always able to help and training sessions are great, the team are fully prepared with their tools. The team are amazing and I couldn't see any negative side on this.
No matter what you need they always get back to you with answers.

Fasty is the CDN of the future available today! The way Fasty was constructed and performs is better than any other CDN on the market.
The amount of functionality and speed combined without the need for the forced subdomain a.k.a. cdn.example create in my opinion the best content delivery network in existence (I will say Akamai is up there & 20x the price) but I prefer Fastly. What it can accomplish using VLC is a refreshing change from the one click you must pay for additional access CDN's like CF which are not nearly as quick or as capable even if you do pay the higher price for the enterprise. My advice is to look at Fastly before you look at other content delivery networks or reverse proxies some huge SEO improvements by taking a subdomain with a lot of link equity and creating a subfolder make this tool worth its weight in gold.

So we got fastly working on certain sections of our demo site and it was encouraging - rocket fast in fact but on our live site it would NOT work!

Issues:
- cannot add to basket due to invalid form keys
- cannot browse via SSL as the site goes into a redirect loop

fastly working on it and we are hopeful of a solution....

UPDATE.....after a week we gave up and went for another solution. It is a shame but Fastly's support need constant chasing and after spending a lot of development time on it we decided to cut our losses.
