69 days and counting, still missing items
It has been 78 days since the pack up and move day and after three scattered deliveries, across a 69 day span, I still don't have all of my items. Many items were broken, damaged, missing, wet, and/or covered in dried mud. Some of the wet items were covered in black mold and had to be thrown away. The company has not answered my questions, has given me a false contact phone number, will not answer the phone, texts or call back, have provided false delivery date information, and do not follow through on instructions from the broker company that hired them - Safe Ship Moving Services. Safe Ship Moving Services has been ineffective in rectifying this with them or me. Father and Sons Moving Inc did not pack properly, (artwork stacked with no art boxes or cushion between them, legs left on furniture and are now cracked and damaged, steak knives tossed into a box of bedroom supplies, no stickers or labeling on boxes) left my items unattended in an elevator, two workers walked off of the job, did not provide me with a copy of my paperwork that I had to sign at the end of the job. I was also yelled at, charged additional money, and one threatened to take items back out of my apartment and load back on the truck if I did not pay, which he started to do.
