I had to have a dust extractor repaired and Luke at the Melbourne Repair centre was extremely helpful and very timely in his communication

I've had festool tools for a while and still got most of them. They do last pretty well. Just bought a new Sander that seems pretty decent, I like the light onit

Ive had sand paper last longer than the velcro on this tool!!! After paying over $500 for a sander I expected better from a quality brand pricing. VERY DISAPOINTED!!!
Ive been using them since they where FESTO.
Not worth the money anymore

I bought the RG130 for about $1350.
It ceased working after about 18 months, I had it repaired under warranty after having it returned it stopped working again after about 6 months of use. This time it was out of warranty. It was returned unrepaired.
I spoke to someone at Festool Australia who assured me that they would look into it and I have since heard nothing.
For this price you would expect better quality, I could have bought 3 Makitas which would have lasted just as long for this price.
I now have a very expensive boat anchor.
AVOID THIS BRAND.
