Firebird did a wonderful job
Firebird planned everything but our airfare. This was our second time using Firebird. The itinerary was great and everything on our vacation went so smoothly. The transfers met us where intended. The guides were on time and knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The hotels were in great locations and close to the major sites. We had a stress-free vacation. I would definitely use Firebird again.

The devil's in the details
Addison was great in helping us plan this once in a lifetime experience! Great support (Mary and others) while we were there, Great options for tours, Well vetted hotels, very prompt and courteous transfers and well planned transportation, outstanding breakfasts in all hotels, superb hotel location... Every Guide was well versed and knowledgeable.

10 days in Italy with a family of 5.
The service provided by hotel staff, drivers, and local guides was truly exceptional. I would've had a lot of difficulty coordinating something like this myself for a family of five. Our hotel stay in Florence was also a highlight. My only concerns would be the cleanliness of the hotel in Rome and the inflated cost of our gondola ride in Venice. The cost was more than triple what we found online with a reservation, which is outrageous.

Regarding the gondola ride in Venice, it was arranged as a private experience with one of our trusted partners. We carefully select our suppliers to ensure reliability and quality. Evening timings do tend to come at a higher cost due to demand.

Olive Sea Travel/Firebird
We had booked our tours via Firebird tours. Olive Sea travel was a great choice by Firebird.
Our tours consisted of the following:
- Athens City Tour
- Meteora Monasteries
- Trip to Delphi
- Trip to Corinth, Epidaurus, Mycenae, Nafplion
- Sunset tour to Cape Sounion
- Trip to Ancient Olympia
Nikos was our driver for the 5 of the 6 tours. He did a superb job making our tour great and memorable. He always replenished our bottled water during the tours. Suggested excellent restaurants for lunch and dinner.
Our tours guides Vasso, Matina, and Angelo were excellent.
They were deeply knowledgeable, knew how to translate history, culture, and stories behind what you’re seeing into vivid narratives. All were highly personable and approachable.

Firebird Orchestrated the Vacation of a Lifetime
Firebird were right on top of everything throughout our trip, especially as group size shrunk to just us two, with lots of tricky transfers etc. across multiple cities. There were no glitches, the hotels were good and ideally located in each city during our trip. And the Firebird App really does work well.

Firebird helping dream come true!
Using Firebird was the best thing we could have done! They talked with us to learn about our needs (I use a cane) and interest. They created a detailed itinerary, booked the hotel, the tours, transportation, etc. Firebird’s customer support answered questions and provided guidance quickly. Our trip was perfect from start to finish.

Well organized experience
Very well organized. Transportation was flawless and our private day guides ranged from excellent to exceptional. Hotels were quite good although some were not within walking distance to center city points of interest (particularly the Brighton Hotel Kyoto - great hotel, just not strategically located for tourists).

Our trip to Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, Hakone and Osaka) was an incredible experience. Firebird Tours created a wonderful itinerary with transportation. Communication with the team was outstanding and the guides were friendly and very knowledgeable. We went for 10 days and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Tour guides MADE vacation.
Tour guides definitely were the highlight of our vacations. While it is doable to set up everything we did on our own, it made the trip planning a stress free situation.

The trip was great. Every pick up and drop off were easy.
The only disappointment was with the coliseum and St. Peter’s tickets being cancelled. Our question was why weren’t the two events switched to allow us access to both.
