It took a couple of calls, but once I finally wasn’t placed on hold for a long period of time it was very easy to get accomplished what I needed to for my listing!

FISHING BOOKER has turned out to be such a vital asset to the business. I don’t know how I could operate without them! The support staff is amazing and the features in ease of use for my customers is even better!

I have been a charter captain working with FishingBooker for 8 years. Each and every interaction with them, whether through email or on the phone, has been outstanding. They never question my judgement or my interactions with referred clients. If it’s a refund to the client, they are prompt. If it’s a change to a booking, it is handled efficiently. Overpayments or underpayments are cheerfully handled without question. Genuine customer service is difficult to obtain these days but FishingBooker has always exceeded my expectations. And they have supported me with my client interaction. Job well done! And thank you.

Charter company cancelled booking.
Refund was not paid back in full due to cancellation fishing booker transactional fee. This cancellation from fishing charter and fishing booker was an inconvenience and out of our control therefore there should be no fees charged due to inconvenience and not receiving any services from fishing booker.

I had an issue with changing charters and Lilly from Fishing Booker got back to me very quickly and helped me figure out my issue!

Fishing Bookers guides made sure that my travel to Florida was worth the trip. I will use them wherever I go to fish, I also recommend for anyone wanting to fish anywhere to look to see if they have guides there as they as I know have guides in many states. Fishing Booker also was very fast to reach back to me about any questions I had, I have not had that kind of class response before! I rate them 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s!

DO NOT TRUST FISHING BOOKER!! They force the Captains to stay with charters even if conditions are unsafe!!! If Captains cancel because of weather they penilize the Capt!! Forcing them to go out in unsafe conditions. DO NOT TRUST FISHING BOOKER!!!

Never book a trip to Fishing Booker. Make sure before booking you call the Captain directly before going ahead and putting a deposit down. They are terrible at letting the Captain know about the upcoming trip and they make it too confusing for the Captain to get in contact with them. Also, they point you in the wrong direction on what guide service to book with.

While I appreciate the experience of FishingBooker, after a weather cancelled trip by our Captain, the refund is slow to show up prompting me to have to email. The refund did show up, and I really think it was my credit card company over FishingBooker

Do not trust this company. They are very dishonest. They will steal your money.

Don’t trust this company. We booked a day trip in the Seychelles months ago. The emailed us the boat before we agreed to the charter. The day we arrived it was a much smaller boat. We saw the boat we were promised but someone else was on it. We were bait and switched. No beer as promised, fishing gear was okay, but the snorkel gear had fuel spilled on it and burnt your face when you tried to use it.

Do not use Fishing Booker! I booked in May for a halibut trip in August in Homer, AK. Flew to Anchorage, and drove 4-hours to Homer in a rental car. Stayed in a hotel. Got up early and had my wife drive me to the dock. The directions to find the boat in the Fishing Booker app did not include dock or slip number, but showed a map location. I went there. No boat. Looked for the charter boat company on google and went to location on map. No boat. Texted and called captain repeatedly. No response. Called Fishing Booker’s help line. No answer. The boat was supposed to leave at 7am. At 8:09am I received a message that the trip was cancelled. Got a call from the captain saying he let Fishing Booker know several days prior that the trip was cancelled. Not message of cancellation was sent to me before the trip. In fact I received a reminder confirmation text the evening before. Do not use Fishing Booker. Book through the charter companies directly and save yourself a huge headache and expense.

I did reply to Fishing Booker and they asked what would be fair compensation for the complete fiasco of a booking that was cancelled with no notification. After providing detailed costs for my trip costs, I asked for $1000 in compensation to cover a portion of my travel, hotel, rental car, etc. and I would be happy to let the issue go. Fishing Booker promised to get back to me with their response. Over a month has gone by with no response so I assume they are just hoping I will go away. Thanks for wasting even more of my time Fishing Booker. I will continue to tell people to avoid you for as long as it takes to get some satisfaction for your errors.

We booked through FishingBooker and received a confirmed booking. Captain didn’t communicate despite calls and postings. One day before the booking we received a one line ‘mechanical issues’ along with cancellation from the captain. Float plane bookings to get there and hotels were all made. We got a refund on the deposit just fine. But… could not leave any feedback on the captain who was free from any accountability. Tried to get FB to do something but other than a $50 credit were useless. I didn’t want compensation - The process needs fixing!
As an illustration - I checked back and ‘Tips up charters of Sooke’ still have 5 stars. They are protected by the feedback process which incentivises them to cancel last minute rather than mess up publicly. Just WRONG.
Final Edit. Read their reply …. It’s None-sense and makes my point. Buyers use the public ratings to make informed choices so implying there are invisible forces at work behind the scenes illustrated FB are more concerned in keeping captains than customers.

We had two different guide services cancel on us. Fish booker is not wanting to provide full refund from one because they say I violated captains policies…… really it was the captain who cancelled the trip!!!!!!!!

Fish booker is dishonest in listing for captain’s and ripping us off on refunds!
