Order Number - #FO620FCD68904. Paid this freelancer Ahsan Zafar to put a professional touch on a draft book cover I sent to him. He acts all professional until I confirm receipt of the order and provide a sterling review on his page. Then I try to open my files, one of three files don't open. The most important one. So I inform him about it only for him to patronize me. As though opening downloads require more than a click of an arrow. He begins making useless suggestions like taking screenshots, having zoom calls etcetera to teach me how to download a pdf file. Is that rocket science? It's a click of a button. The file SIMPLY doesn't open. Of course, I have complained to the platform but no better way of spreading the word than using Trustpilot. No one in the team has gotten back to me about this. They were quick to take my money out of my account but haven't responded to my complaint.

After the monumental waste of time and tossing me about, the platform has now refunded my money today (15/05). However, I used a disposable card for the transaction and therefore can't receive it via the same card. They have provided a credit note against contracting the services of another freelancer on the platform.

Terrible ! Boycott their platform!

Asked for a logo from a seller, got an adapted Google image, seller did not even try to follow brief. Said I'd like to cancel as I wasn't going to pay £70 for a google image. Next thing i know the money left my account, this violates fivvers own terms that payment will not be made unless happy with the finished result! The seller then ghosted me. Fivvers support was useless, so I filed with paypal, because of this fivver locked my account! They are scam artists, how they are still going amazes me! Just look at all these reviews! I'm still in talk with paypal, my bank and looking into reporting these further! Fivver needs taking down.

Hatte auf meinem Konto noch Credits (aus einer Reklamation, die nur zum Teil erstattet wurde.) Auszahlen lassen war nicht möglich. Also wollte ich einen Kurs belegen. Da hieß es können man nicht mit Credits bezahlen. Auf die Frage, was passiert, wenn die Cedits ablaufen, hieß es, die würden danach wieder gut geschrieben. Sind am 09.04. abgelaufen. Drei eMails, bzgl Gutschrift sind jetzt unbeantwortet!

The world's largest scam marketplace is Fiverr. Their services and behavior are very concerning, and it is a 100% loss project for both professional freelancers and buyers. I don't recommend it.

Update: Fiverr Still Ignoring My Legitimate Questions – No Support for Sellers

After Fiverr unfairly disabled my account, I tried every possible way to explain my side. I’ve contacted support multiple times and even received a response from a supervisor. But when I asked some basic and honest questions, they completely stopped replying.

Here’s what I asked them:

What proof do you require from me to clear my name?

How can I prove to you that I had no link to any fake order?

You can check the orders—I delivered exactly what the client requested.

If the orders were fake, why didn’t Fiverr cancel them in the first place?

Why wasn’t the buyer held accountable? Why is it always the seller who suffers?

How is a seller supposed to know if an order is real or fake?

I never got an answer to any of these questions.

Fiverr talks about supporting freelancers, but in reality, they give no protection to sellers. I spent 8 years building my profile, worked hard, and followed all the rules. My gig was already ranking on the first page, so I had no reason to fake anything.

Still, my account was banned without warning or a fair investigation, and now they’ve gone silent when I ask valid questions. If you’re a seller on Fiverr, be warned—they can disable your account at any time, and you won’t get a chance to explain.

It is important to understand that not all contractors are bad or scammers. However, when this does occur, no matter how much evidence you have Fiverr will not reimburse you they will only frustrate you until you give up its actually a little bit crazy how they handle your complaint.
They will continuously change customer service reps with each email reply you send then ask for new or already sent proof prior to them, after 9 emails back-and-forth, i became extremely frustrated with sending the same evidence. My evidence included the initial email asking what I needed to be done along with the contractors reply, saying it was never asked for
and then finally, I sent evidence that the issue was fixed and I was charged by another contractor from a different site.
They still asked for more proof including snapshots of when my sight was not working.How would I have that if it was fixed. With each of my answers, they looked for another way around it by searching for tasks that were nearly impossible at that point.Being, you cannot go back in time. Save yourself hassle.There's plenty of other reputable companies

Leider werden falsch ausgestellte Rechnungen nicht korrigiert, die Support Tickets sind über zwei Wochen offen, ich bekomme immer nur den gleichen Textbaustein, aber keine korrekte Rechnung

The amount of scammers on this site is unbelievable especially in the crypto section where they all have different IDs but work as a team. A lot of positive reviews are obviously false especially with new businesses as dates of the reviews are all within days or weeks of each other. Can’t believe Fiverr does not monitor this. I just got scammed for a lot of money which was partly my fault for trusting the company, but had the reviews been verified I could have avoided this.

How the Fiverr scam works.
There is no customer service, you cannot give an opinion about the developers, they are already rated by the company and have protection from it. When I say they are all scammers, I mean everyone who works for Fiverr. They are a well-organized mafia and they all follow the same protocol. They all ask for crypto coins to buy supposed APIs without any guarantee obviously. The trick is to hook you once with some crypto shipment and then continue extorting until you give up. I say this from experience, one scammed me, another almost scammed me and the last 7 could not do anything. They are all there to steal money. Do not make shipments in advance. Always ask to use PayPal with buyer protection, (do not send via PayPal to friends and family) and you will see the result. They are all developers of ponzi schemes.

In my opinion, Fiverr is a scammer platform that takes advantage of freelancers. It operates on its own terms, and its rules can change at any time without any valid reason. Even if you have great skills, there’s no guarantee that you will benefit from them because Fiverr’s system is unfair and ruthless.

Many people have spent months building their profiles, only to have their accounts restricted or banned without any clear explanation. The customer support is also of no help, as they only provide generic responses instead of real solutions. If you are serious about freelancing and want to invest your time and effort wisely, it’s better to explore other platforms or work directly with clients.

Don't waste your time on Fiverr for no reason look for work in other markets or outside. Even if you have good skills, it won't benefit you because of Fiverr's ridiculous system. They operate however they want, making arbitrary rules that can downgrade or ban your account. It's a scam marketplace.

Zahlen nicht aus versuchen alles um nicht auszuzahlen bescheißen wo sie können und verarschen einen bis zur Weißglut das Unternehmen sollte man schließen oder zumindest beaufsichtigen oder kontrollieren ich kann niemandem empfehlen digital etwas zu machen denn damit gibt man sein ganzes Schicksal in die Hand des anderen

Beaware of Fiverr’s Unfair Policies and Lack of Support

I am extremely disappointed with Fiverr’s handling of my account restriction. My account was disabled without warning for what Fiverr claims is a violation of their policies. The issue arose because I used my display name, "Azlan Khan," to request an authority letter from a client. This was not an intentional violation but a standard part of my communication with the client.

I submitted an appeal five times, clearly explaining that this was a misunderstanding and not a deliberate breach of the rules. Yet, Fiverr has ignored my appeals and refused to provide a clear explanation or resolution. Instead of offering a warning or an opportunity to address the issue, they disabled my account outright, cutting off my livelihood without any fair consideration.

Fiverr’s lack of transparency, communication, and fairness in handling such matters is unacceptable. Their policies seem more focused on penalizing users harshly rather than providing proper support or guidance. Freelancers invest significant time and effort into building their profiles and delivering high-quality work on this platform, only to be treated unfairly without due process.

I urge Fiverr to reconsider their approach to account restrictions and appeals. Freelancers deserve warnings and clear communication before facing such drastic measures. I would caution others to think carefully before relying on Fiverr, as their policies can be arbitrarily enforced without recourse.

Ich wurde von der Plattform für den selben Auftrag von zwei verschiedenen Freelancern über den Tisch gezogen. Nachdem der erste seine Arbeit komplett versaut hat, hat der zweite auch nicht besser gearbeitet, hat aber durch Herauszögerungstaktiken die Bewertungsfrist übergangen. Das Unternehmen weigert sich strikt, auf Probleme einzugehen und unterstütz leider so aktiv Betrugsmaschen. Ich rate dringend davon ab, Geld bei Fiverr liegen zu lassen.

Contrate la notarizacion con apostillado y la notaría que era de NY nunca me pasó su precio para apostillar ya que supuestamente era algo aparte. Se lo pedí 2 veces. Hizo la notarizacion de mi firma que pague x la plataforma y cuando le pido nuevamente el apostillado que le explique desde el principio que era imprescindible, me manda un mail , por fuera de la 0lataforma y pretende cobrarme dos veces lo que cuesta ese servicio. O sea un cliente cautivo, estafado. Me escribe un tal Frank de atención al cliente, y le mando a ver los chats donde claramente hablo del apostillado desde el inicio y él me resp9nde que yo acepte eso. Que acepte que me estafen? Que se guarde de decirme el valor hasta terminar 6 pretenda cobrarme dos veces lo que vale en el me4cado ese servicio? No la usen, por favor , si no quieren ser estafados, la Notaría es Raesook T. Han. Tampoco la contraten.
