Friendly, professional service and great work.
The entire process of getting the car booked in, processed, courtesy car arranged was friendly, efficient and professional. The actual body repair work was mint too! Would recommend and would be happy to use Matlock again.

slow service
Vehicle was legal and safe to drive , just looked a mess . Auto Fix was advised this but still collected
the vehicle any way. we then had an extremely lengthy
wait for the required parts to be obtained, further wait after that for vehicle to be repaired. we were given replacement vehicle by insurer but NOT the same as our vehicle.
Vehicle returned and side door where repair had been made would not open. We refused Vehicle
as repair not satisfactory.Auto fix asked us to accept the repair and they would arrange for it to be looked at at another time, we reused.
vehicle was taken back and door fixed, vehicle returned the same day repaired.
we were told on the phone that the door had a piece of metal stuck in it, which was stopping it opening.
The OLDER DRIVER OF THE TWO WHO THEN RETURNED THE VAN SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE DOOR "YOU JUST DON'T KNOW
HOW TO OPEN IT"
The younger man said that was incorrect there had been a piece of metal jamming the door.
not a satisfactory experience.
also we were requested twice to review the completed work before they had finished the work
repair seems to be OK

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent repair. I am sorry if you feel that we did match your expectations on this occasion.
The process for mobile vehicles is to obtain images whilst you are still using the vehicle and carry out an estimate and order parts from the images received. Once the vehicle comes on site we inspect the vehicle and re-estimate in case anything was not seen from the images, unfortunately on this occasion another part was needed which then went onto a backorder we kept you up to date with the delays and if you had wanted the vehicle back we could have arranged this
The hire car you received was from the third party insurance and not Fix Auto Matlock and we have no control over what vehicle is supplied.
When we delivered the vehicle there was found to be an issue with the door not opening when the vehicle went through quality checks on site the door was opening and closing with no issues once there was found to be an problem on delivery we offered to have the vehicle returned straight away we only gave you the option of rebooking encase you needed to use your vehicle I am sorry if this was not communicated correctly
Your vehicle was returned to our workshop who initially thought there may have been an issue with the keys locking system but on inspection there was found to be a small piece of metal jamming the mechanism this was rectified and the vehicle was returned back to you
Our older driver was just trying to explain that the keys had been checked and the sequence of button's for opening and closing were correct ,again i am sorry if this was miscommunicated
The Trust Pilot review is sent automatically once the repairs are complete in the workshop.
I am sorry we had to have the vehicle back and for any miscommunication between ourselves or the drivers.

Fix Auto Matlock carried out repairs to our vehicle as a contractor to Admiral Insurance.
The repairs were completed quickly and to a high standard.

Fix Auto straightforward, friendly and efficient.
Fix Auto made our repair experience straightforward. The staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful. This includes everyone we had contact with: reception staff over the phone and those who arrived in person to collect the car and then to return it to us. The car had been hit whilst parked. The rear fog light was broken and the bumper scraped. It was as good as new when fixed. It was returned to us in less than a week.

Left with flat battery and took no responsibility
Repair fixed perfectly. Unfortunately my car came back with a completely flat battery, leaving me without a car at last minute and having to buy a new one. They accepted no responsibility for it, just feel let down and left on my own to sort it. They Unfortunately didn't want to know.

I'm sorry we did not meet your expectations on this occasion
With regards to the issue with the battery the repairs to your vehicle was for a minor repair to your front bumper and did not impact the battery.
We carry out rigorous Quality Checks as part of the repair process which were passed and the vehicle was delivered back to you without any starting issues. We delivered the vehicle back to you on a Friday and you rang to advise of the issue on the Tuesday, if the vehicle had not been driven for a few days this may have caused the problem.
Unfortunately battery issues can arise at any time
On this occasion we don't feel the 1star review is fair especially as you state the repairs we carried out were perfect.
We are sorry you felt let down and this was not our intention but we would not be able to replace the battery under the insurance if it is not accident related.

Exceeded Expectations
I was involved in an RTA and my insurance company allocated the repair to be done by Fix Auto Matlock. This was repaired very quickly and the car was both collected and returned to me, which I was not expecting and was extremely grateful for. When the car was returned it seemed to have an ongoing problem, which was caused by the RTA. Fix Auto Matlock were extremely quick to rectify it and the problem is hopefully dealt with, never to return. Their service and communication exceeded my expectations and I am most grateful to them all. Thank you

Fix Auto fixed my Ducato
The whole experience at Fix Auto Matlock was excellent.
All the staff I had contact with were professional, courteous, reassuring and knowledgeable. The body shop technician(s) have repaired the damage to my camper so well you wouldn’t know I had driven like a crash test dummy.
Schedule wise it was pretty much on time - so absolutely no complaints from me.
