Great product, amazing service

I originally ordered a red dress but it was out of stock. Kate got in touch right away with my options so I changed to the blue Lena dress. Living in Scotland, I expected it to take a while to arrive but it was here quicker than some local stuff. The dress was more beautiful than I expected and really good quality. It’s comfortable and an excellent fit, just what I need for our cruise. I cannot recommend Flapper Boutique highly enough. From start to finish, Kate’s service was excellent and the quality of the product excellent.

Great job guys

Helped my mum place an order as she was heading on a cruise with a Gatsby themed night. She ended up calling the company afterwards as she wanted clarity on sizing and they answered right away and helped her through it. She loved the dress and told her friends about her experience and they’ve since ordered too.

Ordered dress for my partner birthday…

Ordered dress for my partner birthday party on 14 of April.
With delivery between 6-8 days as it says on the website site. Payed 60 £.
Firstly received wrong tracking number so have to asked for new one.
The dress supposed to come in from Australia to UK.
Today almost a month later still didn't received the order and applied for the refund with no answer.
Avoid this unprofessional company.

Going in to my bank Account…

This company sucks they show a Bible on tic Tok for four dollars,I never got it,now they keep going into my account fo forty dollars thirty some dollars , which I didn't ok that,I WOULD LIKE. TO KNOW WHATS HAPPENING?

HI Linda, I am Steph and one of the business founders here. I just want to share feedback here to the community at large. We are NOT A SCAM business. We are 100% legitimate and are a small family run business since 2018. I would urge you to check the reviews on our website which are verified by Loox (an authorised Shopify review app). Right now, there are 2707 reviews. All verified which means customers must purchase before they can review. About your claim, I think you may have sent us a Facebook message (under another profile) in which i responded immediately. I asked you whether i could call you to help. I did so on 3 occasions in which you responded no. I let you know who i was and that we used Shopify and they manage all our payments. There is no possible way it was us and it was scam. I encouraged you to contact your bank. I then asked can i contact you again! You said no. I then asked you, “what were you purchasing” and you said, “an Ethiopian Bible”. The picture of the bank transactions said “Flappyboutiq” as the transaction. This is not us; our business name is FlapperBoutique. I did contact Facebook and they advised us to block the profile and that they were flagging it as fraudulent. Added to this, we have no Tic Tok socials. Our audience is primarily Facebook. If you are legitimate and you have been scammed, I would urge you to contact your bank. Also is the transaction states “Flappyboutiq” than its not us.

So impressed with service received and…

So impressed with service received and the quality of the dress.
Order came very quickly and was wrapped in tissue paper which I thought was a nice touch.
Dress is lovely. Good quality and very comfortable to wear. Would definitely use again and no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.

Fabulous customer service. Effortless exchange.

Fabulous customer service. Kate answered my questions about the dress and the dress itself was of excellent quality. Kate also processed an exchange request promptly and effortlessly. On top of that, wonderful, friendly exchanges. Cannot recommend them highly enough. And to the person who gave them one star, you were clearly windows shopping with no real intent to buy all three dresses for the prom. Why should a company have to bear the full cost of postage to America in these circumstances?

Beware of return policy

UPDATE: As promised, here's the final outcome. I've pasted the final response from Flapper Boutique below. I give them high points for professionalism which is always appreciated.

My decision: I decided to keep the two dresses I wanted to return, and attempt to resell them; if I sent them back, I would have had to incur shipping costs and a return fee for each dress--it just didn't make sense to me. Here's an excerpt from the exasperated email response I sent that took all this into account: "...a $13 fee per dress ($26) and then having to ship back to Australia--$30 or so?--is practically the cost of one dress!" My bottom line is that while I acknowledge that there are costs associated with doing business, that is what you have to account for (in my opinion) when you're in business.

I do have a suggestion for Flapper boutique that I did not think about til now and hope they will read it and make a change. The dresses really are beautiful and the quality is excellent. Here's my suggestion--before a person places their order which commits their money, there should be a pop up box with a warning and possibly an acceptance box to check with plain language that flags this policy: "Are you buying more than one dress? If you make a return, we will only issue a refund for one, and a store credit for any others returned."
Here's the email I received:
"Hi Connie,
As originally stated and as per our returns policy we don’t accept returns on orders of three (3) or more dresses. As you can appreciate the cost to ship these dresses internationally for you to return them comes at a cost.
If I had known your intention was to purchase three dresses and return two of them I would have explained this to you. I understand that the cost to return is expensive, as is the cost to send the dresses to you in the first place.
Despite our refund policy stating otherwise, I have generously offered the opportunity for you to return them however we do need to recover some of the shipping cost that was spent to send them to you. Regretfully we have no control over the shipping prices set in the US, nor Australia so whilst I appreciate your thoughts here it is not something we have any influence over.
I’m glad to hear that your niece enjoyed the prom and I’m sure she looked beautiful.
I hope the two dresses can be worn and enjoyed by someone,

The reps name was here and I must say that she was very responsive. What a shame that this policy is the only thing that will stop me from ever ordering here again.

Beware of return policy
I will change this review depending on the outcome of my experience which is still pending. My niece picked 3 dresses for prom and loved one, liked another and the third didn't fit as well as the others, but she didn't like the design as much anyway. Bottom line is she selected the one she loved and I began an attempt to return the other two and am being told of a frankly bizarre policy of not accepting returns when 3 or more dresses are ordered? Huh? I have been offered a store credit and the suggestion for me to sell them on Marketplace--what? I paid for these, am trying to make a prompt and responsible return and this is the answer? The dresses were tried on, NOT worn. Will let everyone know how this turns out. Right now, I'm not happy. And, by the way, we did order a gown from Macy's and another dress from Mac Duggal, and returned them both because we all LOVE the flapper dress. Go figure.

Shipping is unfortunately expensive for both our customers and us, which is why we have policies around larger multi-dress orders. Even though the order fell outside our standard return policy, we still wanted to try and help by offering an exception because we genuinely never want anyone to feel stuck. Good quality, quick delivery

The dress and headpiece were better quality than I expected. Also, the dress is well designed. I ordered a bigger size and it hides my big belly. Super quick delivery.
