Parts not working as intended, customer service isn't helping
Flatout suspension makes offroad suspension kit for various vehicles.
I bought the Flatout TR Kit for my Volvo P2 XC70 as soon as it was listed on the site. After receiving the "kit", I was disappointed to see that rear bushings and springs weren't included as at the time it was listed as a complete kit (as opposed to the Unloaded version which only includes the shocks themselves). I tried to get in touch with Flatout Suspension to get this sorted and was ghosted. I ended up getting rear springs and bushings from elsewhere, adding to the cost.
Then, I was even more disappointed when I installed the kit as the front isn't lifted by 2 inches as advertised, but by 4 ! Everyother suspension component is at its limit, CV axles, lower control arms and ball joints are now toasted, the car can't be driven like that.
I have really been trying to get Flatout Suspension all the possible information to help (measurements of OEM vs their shocks, the mecanic and I tried every possible thing, alignement settings etc) and still, Flatout Suspension haven't been of any help for three months now (they take weeks to answer, when they do...) and the car has been stuck since then, the fault is placed on parts that weren't touched and no solution or refund was offered to get this fixed. Their terrible customer service is letting me stuck with an undriveable car, a 2000€ bill for a suspension that doesn't work as promised, and new fixes needed to the car.
After taking some measurements, the shock body is 2 inches longer than OEM where spacers used by others to lift the car 2 inches are about 1 inch tall. So even without the springs, those shocks probably aren't right. Buy at your own risk, for this vehicule at least... And don't expect much help if something ain't right on the first try. Maybe they treat American customers better than someone from across the ocean, who knows. I'm still a really unpleased customer.
