Just recently came across this app when moving to a new city and needing make up done. It’s really easy to use and it’s great that you can see artists work from previous photos. When I did finally have an artist confirm she was amazing and did a great job of my make up and was so great to talk to.
Only disappointing thing is I had 2 artist cancel on me. One double booked. Anyway a good end result.

Flayr is an amazing discovery I made a few years ago. It's the perfect way to find the Make-up Artist you need for every occasion.

A great app. Easy to use, convenient and was able to find a brilliant make up artist quickly and easily who delivered exactly the look I wanted. Really impressed and will definitely use the app again.

The website is so easy to use and let's you book local MUAs even with very short notice (we booked a bridal and mother of the bride make up the week before the wedding!) I love that you can see the MUAs photos of their makeup to help you decide who to go for. Very highly recommend Flayr for booking make up!

I cannot stress enough that you should NOT use Flayr if you're a makeup artist or in need of one. I have never had a good experience in interacting with them. I just got suspended (again). Last time was for being sick, but I wasn't allowed to send a back up artist despite being bedridden, which encourages artists to go to jobs sick out of fear that they'll be fined or suspended. This time for supposedly talking to clients off the app, which they haven't even confirmed actually happened, nor could I if I had tried because their app doesn't allow us to see clients numbers. They treat the artists (the backbone of the entire business) terribly and almost never give refunds to clients. During covid I had several clients who begged for their money back and I had to tell them it hadn't gone to me and it was out of my hands. Imagine having to pay for a service you never received.

So easy to find what I needed

I made the last minute decision to book make up for an event I was attending. The app made it so easy. The artist Giselle was so lovely and made me so beautiful. Will definitely do this again.

I’ve now used Flayr 3 times for make up and each one has been a very good experience.

I have used the app twice now and have been lucky enough to have had two beautiful ladies do my hair and make up. They were both timely, made my experience comfortable, fun and relaxing.
I highly recommend this app to anyone seeking a professional for any occasion.

Great last minute solution to have a makeup and hair done for special occasions.I used it once and I am happy to do it again. The only thing to be alert is that they don't refund deposit but keep as a voucher to be used within 6 months.
